Amazingly green golf course amidst tea gardens - Unbelievable

We are based in Jorhat and heard about the place from friends. We wanted to have an outing on a weekend so decided to spend weekend at Kaziranga Golf Resort.
The place is 7 Kms inside from the main road. approach road is isolated but place can be reached using signages as well as google maps.
However, once you reach the place, you feel different. A lush green place amidst tea gardens. lot of trees, green golf course, some small waterbodies, lots of birds. A perfect encounter with nature.
There are only 15 cottages, a small swimming pool, A big bungalow having reception, restaurant, bar, gym and spa. Cottages are neat and clean and done very well. Bathroom is neat n clean with basic facilities.
If you are a golfer, its more than bonus. Golf Course was under maintenance, We were told winter is the best time to be there.
Overall, A perfect place for golfers and nature enthusiasts.

The scenic beauty of the tea gardens is mesmerizing. The golf course is well maintained and visitors can stroll by the fields, play golf, snooker, read in the library, hangout in the cafeteria or enjoy the swimming pool. I would advise to reach there in the morning so that you can enjoy the whole day with family and lunch. Golf coach is very helpful and so are the other staff.

It had rained the day we reached there in May 2017 and it can get tough to maintain a clean ambience in such situations and despite that the staff did a decent job. The golf course is just awesome, there is a decent gym and a spa for the fitness conscious, a swimming pool, lots and lots of open space (green), surrounded by tea gardens... the place is just amazing. The food you get is delicious... you can learn and/ or play golf at a reasonable price.
I had also been here with family and friends in May 2016 and all of us had a ball of a time.
The overall rating could have been 5 had the amenities in the bathroom (in the cottage that we stayed) had been slightly better maintained. It wasn't too bad but with everything else so brilliant this was something that didn't match the expectation.
Another positive was that almost all staff that I interacted with (during all my visits), were extremely friendly and co-operative. All in all it was always a very memorable experience.
Heavenly place

Even if you are not golf player one must visit the place. good restaurant, good rooms, spa, bar, swimming pool, cottages everything you want to enjoy in your holidays,
They have a golf practice range and 18 hole golf course.
They also have a lot of indoor activities.
A run down fake heritage hotel

We booked 2 rooms for our family 2 kids 8-10 years old, 1 little boy 1 y.o and 2 adults. Though booked one month before, they didn't prepare the room, neither had they a baby cot. To add other good news they don't have king size bed (means something to sleep with your wife..) so had only 2 twins mounted on wheels! So we didn't want t to help us despite our insistance and we couldn't join the twins properly to keep our baby safe.
To give you the icing on the cake: the bathroom was similar what you could expect in the 60's but dirty (see the pic attached), we couldn't visit the tea plantation due to a holiday and... the swimming pool was out of order, the room service pathetic and there are several trains during the night and you will feel like sleeping in a train station.
In a word: stay away from this shabby place.
