Kedar is a fascinating place. Beside being a conference center and spa, the Boar War presentations of flags, weapons, uniforms, medals, histories of famous participants (including Ghandi and Churchill) and other paraphernalia is most impressive and provide visitors with a weighty education about South Africa's past. The spa treatment was excellent and conducted in a serene environment. The farm (or ranch) where non- predator species are bred is truly inspirational and educational. Particularly the very rare sable antelopes. Kedar, near Sun City, is a great place to relax and get away from it all.

The best for business, pleasure or family gateway . Tranquillity at its best surrounded by history and nature!! Best food,wines and hospitality, took a game drive after delicious breakfast..came back to the heroes bar for a cold drink waiting for lunch at the armoury restaurant. Kedar is my home away from home, love it!!

We stayed at Kedar over this last weekend! The service we had especially from Mr Arnold was exceptional
The reception is only the first part of an incredible “museum hotel” of the history of the Anglo Boer War
The decor around the hotel is beautiful and the historical pieces and statues just add to the incredible feel of the hotel
The deluxe room we had was lovely with an incredibly comfortable bed and king size pillows were a treat to sleep on
The only let down was the quality of the food in the bar and also the price of the food
The breakfasts were however really good.
We would highly recommend a visit to this incredible hotel and we look forward to returning again.

Had a very fabulous weekend in the northwest at the quite and tranquil Kedar Heritage Lodge,in this era where everything is being mordenised we found Kedar to have stood the test of time in its commitment to the preservation of history, the anglo boer history to be precise, and as the saying goes, charity begins at home they have a life size statue of the Father to the Royal Bafokeng tribe just outside the reception area for all to see, Kedar offers a lot of activities, spa, game drives museum tours pity we could not due to our schedule do any of these, The water problem after a big storm almost ruined our weekend but management made sure that we were well taken care of, and Oh the handsome front desk manager Anold is just but a gem, he calmed and ensured us positively with such poise and his personality and that of the rest of the staff made us forget about the whole inconvenience,
Will definitely visit again

I want to thank Arnold C. The assistent front manager for his professional service and friendliness. From the moment we came there he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He carried our baggage to our rooms. Frequently asked if we were fine. There was a water problem but he went and fetch water etc. Everything with a big smile and politeness.You are a great manager. Keep it up Mr Arnold C.
