BAStravellerson 20/11/2017 21:01Just got back from a 2 night stay with our 2 small children. This is the first time (I think) I have ever given a 5 star review! The hotel was lovely - brilliant location (with views of the Danube and about a 15 mins walk to the Old Town (v pleasant walk along riverbank)) and very comfortable. All modern amenities, fantastic and well equipped gym, great swimming pool (with views of Bratislava) and what looked like a lovely spa (a bit pricy).
We had 2 interconnecting rooms - one was kitted out with stuff for our children. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never come across such forward thinking - cute cuddly toys for the children, small bathrobes, special kids shampoo, step stool for bathroom, potty, nappy disposal unit. It was brilliant! Beds were comfortable and cosy.
Breakfast (€29 per person although ours was included in rate) was great - lovely coffee and nice selection. Only thing missing was banana bread!! ;-).
Staff were great and allowed us a later check out as our son had to sleep.
Altogether, faultless. And the price was very reasonable too,
Bratislava is a lovely pretty city that can be seen in a day but it was nice to enjoy the hotel facilities too!

SPA: location and view very good, the service perfect the facilities spotless
Day-Bar: menu good, service perfect
Restaurant: for dinner great just try it
Departure: check out friendly and professional, transfer professional.

Away from the hustle and bustle
pjmdvmon 14/09/2017 21:29Away from the downtown area (15 minute walk on sidewalk next to the river to get to the SNP bridge). This hotel is shiny, fancy and new. Beautiful room with brand new everything and plenty of light. Good air control (A/C), too. Best bathtub I have ever been in with electronic water temperature controls. Absolutely beautiful pool and extensive hot tub/sauna area. We splurged for 90 min aromatherapy massages and it was by far the best of all the places we have tried before. Very nice breakfast, too. Concierge and front desk people go out of their way to accommodate your requests. Took the hotel car to Vienna airport (30-40 min) ~95 euros. There is a path across the street and to the right a bit that leads up many uneven steps but is a faster way to the castle than going through the central area. Room service (the perogies!) was great!!! This hotel is spectacular.

The staff is very friendly, rooms large and clean, with big beds and state of the art electronics, but the best thing is the shower. With jacuzzi and electronic control, it was the most amazing bath i ve seen. Credit also goes to the free water bottles every day, why dont more five star hotels do this? All in all, one of my rare five stars.
Good business hotel
UltimateSpinachon 09/09/2017 22:14I stayed one night on business and thought this hotel does all the right things for people on short business trips. Quick and efficient check in and out. Really big and luxurious rooms overlooking the Danube. Great shower. Plug socket by the beds and light switches that make sense. Good fitness facilities. Very decent bar and nice breakfast. Located away from the main square and very modern so I would not pick this hotel if I was looking for charming and quaint...
