We truly appreciated the hospitality from all staff during our stay. A warm and cozy room, great food makes for a most pleasant and relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend getaway on the northern neck. The management goal is to make your stay the best

We were visiting the area for a college reunion and spent 1 night at the Inn. We opensd the door to our room and we overwhelmed with the musty smell. Luckily we had arrived early so we open all the windows and doors to frsshen the room. This not what I expected for this Inn. After dinner away from the Inn we returned and wanted hard ice cream. We each got a single scoop (really very small) which was very good. HOWEVER, that little scoop cost $5 which we thought was ridiculous.
So, we don't recommend this Inn.
Room was quiet....a positive as was the breakfast.

I stayed only one night, but I found the inn charming, friendly and comfortable. I had the opportunity to eat breakfast, which was excellent. Unlike most inns, Kilmarnock has multiple buildings with a presidential theme.

We loved this place! It's beautiful and the staff were great and very accommodating. Room was perfect and very comfortable. And the breakfast was excellent. An great experience and value. Will come back!

The rooms surround a very pretty and shady courtyard garden with fountains. The deck overlooks the garden, but has a wall for some privacy. Moderate sized room, but with a large bathroom and deck it felt roomy. Windows open, always a plus for me.
