beautiful gardens

my wife and I popped in here on a hot summers day for a refreshing drink,so cannot comment on the accommodation or restaurant,
my first impression on entering the bar area is that it was immaculate,i have never seen such a spotless pub.they have a very good range of beers on tap and a .vast array of wines.
but the star attraction is the beer garden, the grass is cut so short its like a carpet, and the flower beds are beautiful,at the time of our visit, there were 3 people watering the gardens.
we will return
Good,great breakfasts but poor Wifi

Generally a very positive stay with a cosy, clean and warm, good sized family room
Very individual rooms 1 of only 3 and a very pleasant change from chain hotels.
Breakfast was undoubtedly the highlight at Ducks Café next door, where it could not be faulted, neither the welcoming staff and set you up for the day with a very good choice and a three hour window to eat within
Although we did not dine in the restaurant in the evenings however the menu looked very good and other customers were singing its praises.
The only negative but a big one was the very poor WIFI with it constantly dropping and disappearing all together and on one day absolutely none at all and when you are 6000 miles from home it is an issue and it was obvious from the staff that this was a fairly long running saga in the three rooms.
I would though not hesitate to rebook on my next visit to the Weymouth area as everything else was very pleasant and well priced and exactly what I had hoped for, however I would need insurance that the WIFI saga had been addressed.
Excellent

Great service, nice relaxed surroundings, lovely food.
We booked a table to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The menu was varied in price & content.
The feast Weymouth looked an excellent deal and the choice for this again was excellent.
My husband had the lamb & I thoroughly enjoyed my Portland crab.
We have recommended a visit to our relatives who live close by. We are now back home in Nottinghamshire but we will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
One of Dorset's best eateries.

A great setting, just a few miles from the Swanery at Abbotsbury. A large, well maintained establishment with a great beer garden with modern benches and a large neat and well trimmed lawn with many flower beds.. Plenty of safe, off road parking. The interior is clean and well arranged with several dining areas and a large conservatory. The conservatory can get very hot when the sun shines directly on the South facing windows.Food is absolutely great with choices and foods to cater for all tastes - local sea food is exceptional. Good beers, speciality gins and a varied wine list - all good value. Staff are very friendly, most courteous and efficient. Customer service and Customer care - both excellent.

This was a brilliant find on the way back to Weymouth from Bridport. Decided to try the £20 Feast Weymouth menu. Great food, beautifully cooked and great service from friendly staff. Highly recommended. Feast Weymouth menu on until30/11/17, but rest of the menu looked good too.
