Good choice of hotel by the tour company, we only had two nights en route to other destinations within Nepal,
Rooms were well lite with plenty of space. Beds very comfortable, great shower, with plenty of toiletries.
Restaurant, although buffet diner we could find no faults whatsoever, a good range of fare on offer, and kept very clean and tidy, unlike some buffets we have had.
Breakfast was of similar standard.
Staff were charming.
Free WIFI in lobby area from 09.00 ===22.00 hours

Good hotel away from the city

We recently stayed here and were pleased with the service. We were upgraded to an executive room upon arrival in Kathmandu, which was nice after a long day of travelling. The room was big, clean and had a decent view of the pool area. After our trek we were back for a second stay and this time were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was a class above our previous room. Very clean, very spacious and a class act. Would definitely recommend staying in a suite if it's within your budget. Overall a nice hotel, close to Labim Mall, a walk from Patan Durbur Square (taxi is cheap) and outside of the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Close to the airport too. WiFi is free in the lobby but chargeable in room and at time of writing is roughly £6 per day.

Good hotel away from the bustle

We stayed here for 2 nights then a further 1 night after visiting Pokhara and Chitwan.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, although I suspect ours had been used by smokers in the past...I have a nose for these things!The buffet style restaurant had good choice of fresh food. We chose the a la carte in the evenings which was also good and reasonably priced.
My husband used the gym which he said was OK. The poolside area is nice although the recliner cushions were being washed or something so were a bit hard! Pool was clean and well-kept. Nice gardens and terrace.
Very quiet hotel away from the frenzy of Kathmandu. You will need transport to get anywhere though. Nowhere is within walking distance.
Most of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful although there were some grumpy male staff on the desk first thing in the morning!!
Only criticism was charging for the internet which was not on 24 hours either and only in lobby

Clean and comfortable

The only hotel we stayed at in Kathmandu either side of a visit to Bhutan.it was clean and comfortable and the food was fresh and tasty. The gardens were a nice place to sit and read and work. The wifi is average and intermittent. Do visit Seeing Hands for a great massage, only a few minutes easy walk from the hotel.

We had originally been given a smoking room which reeked so we asked to be moved to a non-smoking one. This happened. However, we then found that this room looked out onto the extractor fans from the kitchen so it was noisy for most of the night.

Of all the hotels we stayed in during two weeks travelling through Sikkim, Bhutan and Nepal, this was the only one that charged for wifi in the rooms. This is not good enough in this day and age, particularly since the hotel purports to be a 4* hotel.

Food in the hotel was adequate but there might have been a more extensive selection of meat dishes. The dhal makhani was, however, excellent!.
