We went to Bradenton for a last minute gateway on Memorial weekend. We were a group who planned to stay at this "hotel" . We didn't make it but we didn't regret it. On Saturday night, our friends planned a get together at the pool and we were invited. When we arrive at 8, they were coming out of the pool because they close it. So, I told them to go to our hotel but they decided to change the get-together to the front of the room. Upps, there is no balcony or lobby for that. But, I will tell you what they have. 20 buses from the agriculture parked around the hotel parking lot... A line up of workers waiting for their dinner at a little room next to the front desk. Around 200 immigrants workers staring at us like "who are this people coming from". My friends told me that At 6:00 am those buses started junking for the workers to get in to work in the fields. Who can sleep with that? Not us. At 11:00 pm a very rude employee from the hotel came to us to tell us were supposed to be in our rooms by 9:00pm or he will call the police. Our friends were thrilled... they are not allowed to have guests at the hotel either. So the get-together was over... everybody was sent to sleep early because this is a hotel for immigrants and illegals. I felt very sorry for this people. They are treated rude and disrespectful. We got treated the same way!!!! and we are not illegals. We are born Floridian citizens. I told the manager he needed better communication skills and he told me to shut up that I didn't have the rights to be there. OK, this hotel is asking for some Immigration Services visit. There must be a violation of cleanliness because is filthy and nasty. Smelled pee at every corner. Do not stay here!!! Everybody here comes from a third world country... Including employees, they don't have legal papers to work here. They don't even speak English. The rude Hindu guy treated me to take a picture of my license plate and send it to the police. I don't think he knows are constitutional rights. Don't get a room here... spend a little more for a better and clean place.
Spend the extra $20 and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!

I didn't even stay there....the parking lot was empty and I showed up at 2:20pm. I phoned before making the reservation and they told me no problem checking in early. Ya sure, nothing but problems when I showed up!! The girl at the front desk was not the person I talked to and she said there wasn't a single room ready, can't check in till 3:00pm, can't help you...ahahahahahaha. WHAT??? There was literally 3 cars in the parking lot and what looked like 100 rooms in the facility, this isn't an exaggeration. With 'closed' signs hung everywhere my first thought was most of this place is condemned. They must be working with only half a dozen rooms. These guys are con-artists...the girl at the front admitted she was one of the maids. THAT SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING....this place won't be around long. If you're even thinking about staying here do yourself a favour and drive by the parking lot and see if they've mowed the weeds in the asphalt, the point being there is NOBODY there and they're running a hotel and this is peak season!!! I wouldn't make a reservation unless you physically saw the room and someone from the Health Department gave you a clearance certificate that you won't catch a disease!!! If you don't believe this review, read some of the other ones!!! I would sleep in my car before staying here!!!
Better sleep under a bridge

Showed up with a reservation on third-party site and went elsewhwere even though no reimbursement was possible. This hotel is a filthy dump! This is the sort of place that can charge by the hour. Horrible.
Over rated

I booked into this place via a Booking.com blind deal, which represented it as 2.5 star lodging. I picked that category because it was the lowest that guaranteed in room Wifi. Boy was I disappointed. Yes, I was able to connect to the server from my room but the inadequate capacity of the network only allowed me to actually load pages if I was surfing 11am-3pm (after check out, before check in) or in the wee hours of the night. Otherwise, most pages just timed out before loading. Next, housekeeping was spotty. Some housekeepers did a good job, some others not so. But since the staff seemed to change from day-to-day I can't pinpoint who did poorly. Finally, there are no restaurants or convenience stores within a reasonable walking distance, so plan to drive a lot. My room didn't have a fridge or microwave (it wasn't a "Suite"... but unacceptable for 2.5 star lodging) so I made frequent runs during my week long stay. In my book, this is only 1.5 star lodging, or maybe 2 star if a pool is important to your choice. I won't be back.
Is this a joke?

1/7/16 First night and I am in room 106. The following has happened:
-Down a long hallway next to pool old shoes are strewn about. It looks like a goodwill or red cross
-Young men have been running around choking each other and hitting each other. At first I thought they were fighting but then they started to laugh and continued to horse around
-Internet is spotty and cell service is terrible.
-Twice now something that appears to be a woman has banged on my door. The second time it was very loud. The curtain that assures my privacy stops at bed level. This means that if anyone looked in the could see if I were sleeping in my room or if the room was vacant. I had to use my bed sheet to cover the window so I can have semblance of privacy.
-I mentioned all of this to the front desk and while polite they have not been very helpful. I would not have chosen this hotel if not for hotwire. I plan to share this with them as well.
-Worst thing, I have two more nights.
