STAY AWAY!

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years, but never again! I got bed bugs!! What a horrible experience!! I was very disappointed. I believe this hotel is slowing going under. They have closed half of the hotel.
Bates Motel would have been a big improvement!

Stayed here on July 4th weekend..".BIG" mistake. We spent two nights, well actually paid for two nights and slept there for one. Upon check-in found staff to be rude or non-existent. You had to use their phone to call someone to the desk. The room seemed ok initially, since we were not planning on spending any time in it. I started noticing hairs in the bathroom, and actually wrote "dust Me" on the tops of coffee maker and furniture. As far as the beds are concerned, why waste your time on them, floor would have been a little more comfortable. Got up the first morning to make coffee and the carafe was missing. Went to "so called" continental breakfast , and why was I not surprised with luke warm coffee and a very small "Little Debbie" cupcake kind of thing. We stayed at my sister's place the second night, couch was much better accomodations. We went back that morning to find the room had not been touched. Dirty towels still on the floor and beds not made. May I say.."Lesson Learned"...and I would like to save everyone else the experience. Go to where they actually have lights to leave on:)
Needs some updates

This was the least expensive hotel in the area. It is an older hotel in need of refurbishing. Not very many hotels to choose from. It is located behind Bob Evans. The signage is not very good. We pass the entrance twice before we entered the correct driveway At $69.00/night, I believe it was overpriced. They only had smoking rooms available which were livable but smelly. The windows did not lock but did have a mechanism so they didn't open more than 5 inches. As our room was on the ground floor, this was a bit disconcerting. The carpet was not very clean. The sheets were clean. The mattress and pillows very comfortable. I did sleep well there. It is a quiet location.
We were in the area for a dog show. It has a lovely field where we could walk the dogs. However, there was a $10 per dog per night charge to have the dogs in the rooms. Due to this excessive charge (we traveled with five dogs), we were forced to leave our dogs in the car overnight. Fortunately, it was a comfortable temperature or we could not have done this. There were many people there for the show and a great number of dogs that were in cars.
There were terrible stains on the doorway to the bath room. There were ants in the bath room all the time. The tub filled to about halfway when you take a shower. The water started out brownish when you first turn it on. There was a continental breakfast in the morning but it was only fruit and bread. Nothing special.
I would not stay here in the future. I would take the extra time and stay in another city rather than stay here again. That being said, the front desk staff person was nice.
Fine for me, not for most !

I spent 3 nights here and found the rooms clean, the equipment worked well(microwave, fridge, ac, bathroom toilet/shower/sink). The mattress needs updating but not impossible to rest. The courtesy of the people was exemplary. The price and the location for my purposes were perfect. The water that came out of the shower was brown edach day to start with then cleared up. There was plenty of hot water. The exterior of the building was appalling and looked terrible. There is loose gravel in the parking lot and the sign is very hard to see.

Windows in our room were unable to lock and easily opened. The continental breakfast was stale and offered no real variety. It was very disappointing and I will not return nor will I ever recommend this property to anyone
