Best Experience in a "Budget Hotel"
Dustin Fon 20/11/2017 03:10Booked a room for two nights for a snowboarding trip with a friend. Was greeted by an extremely friendly receptionist for check in. Room looked absolutely amazing especially for the low cost of the stay. Clean newly remodeled room with a nice LED TV. After returning from our day on the mountain I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who truly made the experience one of the best I've had. Will be back in a few short weeks and plan on staying here from now on!

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find myself at an older motel that has recently been renovated. Joe at the front desk was extremely friendly and informative. He made an excellent recommendation for dinner and let us know that there was a free breakfast in the morning. Upon checking out in the morning I had a very nice conversation with the owner, Nigel. He was also very friendly. The room itself was nice. It had a microwave and a small fridge. My favorite part was the shower head which had multi-colored LED lights built into it! Not something I had ever seen in a hotel before, but I was entertained by it. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will stay again next time I’m in Durango.

mainegnomeon 10/11/2017 15:44Really sweet place. Kind people running a new hotel in an older but redone building. Easy drive into to town. Great place to lay your head for a few nights. Great shower. USB plug in by the beds! Nothing fancy but a great stay!

What made our stay so memorable was the staff, who made a point of chatting with all of the guests during breakfast and offered personalised suggestions for how to enjoy Durango and the surrounding area as fun as possible. The hotel owners were friendly and went out of their way to ensure you had a comfortable stay. The price of the hotel is very reasonable, and it is family-owned. We will be staying here again the next time we are in Durango!

william con 03/11/2017 21:06The example picture in there ad is exactly what our room looked like. Spent weekend with my 5 year old daughter. We were pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth it compared to the other hotels on Main St. Great free Continental breakfast too. Recommend strongly!
