Worth the price

We stay here every year when we attend the Mother Earth News Fair. The room is clean and it is quite. I like being able to park right in front of the room. We come to the room at bedtime shower go to bed. Our needs are simple. The price for the room is very good. We did not eat the breakfast but husband said they had upgraded the area and they had more choices.
Great Deal for the Price

We booked a room here over Labor Day weekend while driving to the Midwest. For $50 a night, the value is tough to argue with. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked, and the rooms had cable TV. The shower mat looked pretty old, but the rest of the room was comfortable, and what you would expect for the price. The continental breakfast was lacking; we ended up going out for breakfast instead.
We did not interact with the staff much, but when we did they were friendly, informative and helpful.
Location-wise, the restaurant is right off the PA turnpike, so the location is great, if you are looking for a quick on and off the interstate.
On it's way out

This property may have been a jewel years ago, however it is on the way out. The room was clean, good sleep, several amenities, but it needs work. The breakfast was non-existent, cold items and some grits. The property needs work and there are several issues, the parking lot, pool is now a garden and more. Cheap sleeps but is it worth it???
Affordable and Very Friendly Reception

Arrived around 5 yesterday and Mr. Patel was very friendly in the check in. He has managed this place for over 30 years. This Knights Inn is one-story, a bit beaten up with age; yet my room was renovated a year ago. The toilet is efficient using very little water. There are minor issues such as water did not drain fast in the sink; but overall the place is managed reasonably well. It came with a microwave, a frig and a flat TV (not HD). The shower is strong and water is hot. The breakfast is basic: cereal, donut, milk, coffee, nothing fancy. With a room rate just over $50, this is a deal. Of course you have to lower your expectation and not compare this with a room that charges $100 per night. In addition, the manager is a very nice and wise guy. Great chat with him
Family friendly, affordable, well-managed, good value!

We stayed at the Knights Inn during the Mother Earth Fair in Seven Springs, NY. Our decision to attend came after many rooms in Somerset were already booked. Searching online gave mixed indications, some sites said rooms available, others said no rooms available. We had read the reviews and liked what we read about the Knights Inn. We also needed two connecting rooms for the children and a friend. I called the motel directly and explained to the lady answering the phone what we needed. She checked the computer and said she could guarantee two rooms, not sure if they would be connecting, but she would try. We made the reservation.
Upon arrival, the Inn was easy to find, the rooms were ready, and parking was available right outside the door for the duration of the visit. Management and staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. The building was older, but the rooms were well cared for and all equipment in the rooms worked.
A tasty continental breakfast was available each morning. The management and staff often visited with guests during breakfast and also recommended area attractions that might be of interest. A rack of brochures of area attractions was available,
The Inn was quiet and we were able to relax and sleep well. The large size rooms were helpful with young children. They were able to play and move around as well and not disturb other guests.
We enjoyed our stay and plan to return again to the Knights Inn if we are in the area. We highly recommend the Knights Inn for families and anyone looking for budget priced lodging. The accommodations were well worth the advertised rate.
