Fab stay!

Me and my partner have just returned from here after a 3 nights stay, I booked it as a surprise for my partners birthday.
We throughly enjoyed our stay here and Hugh and Jenny are lovely 😊
The room was lovely and we were impressed straight away. We loved it. The room was big as lovely and warm, very clean and comfortable. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast which was lovely cooked by lovely Jenny and served by Hugh who was always very polite.
We really enjoyed our stay and would defo return!
Thanks Hugh and Jenny.

Lovely B&B

darrenelain on 30/09/2017 22:13

Husband and I have just spent four nights at this B&B, and what a little Gem it is.
Jenny and Hugh are very welcoming into their home, we was offered a pot of tea and biscuits when we arrived, but we just wanted to get to our room.

First: Yes the parking outside is sometimes packed outside the house, but after 5pm it's fine, plus there is a car park around the corner you can use.
Nice fish and chip shop at the bottom of the street and a lidl around the corner, two minute walk into town. Railway pub, do good meals.

Room We had the twin with en suite: The beds where very comfortable, plus two chairs and a fold away table, wardrobe and a chest of draws. Tv small and was on the wall, plenty of coffee, tea and milk, there was also a sink and towels in the bedroom.
Also dressing gowns, for you to use in the wardrobe.
Bathroom: Shower and toilet yes it was small, but my husband 6ft 4inch and on the large size and we managed very well using the shower, and toilet.
Hugh and Jenny are in the process, off making the shower room bigger in this room.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of fruit juice, cereals and toast, coffee and tea, with a full English breakfast cooked to perfection.

Thank you Jenny and Hugh, hope to see you again in the future.

Very comfortable

We had a terrible journey enroute but had a lovely welcome from Hugh and Jenny with a very welcome complimentary pot of tea and biscuits. The room was very comfortable, two singles together which made it very large. Sink in the bedroom with tv on the wall. Two small wicked chairs and a folding table. We would agree the shower room is tiny with a toilet included. My husband couldn't use the shower but I managed ok, the toilet was most important! It had everything we needed though and it was very home from home and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very well cooked and very satisfying. It was only a 5 min walk to the town and seafront. All in all even though it was a quick visit we were very well looked after. Thanks Hugh and Jenny!

Lovely B&B

We really liked to stay here for 5 nights. Very nice and lovely people, good breadfast and nice beds.
Near by the sea, pubs, shops, supermarket, coffeeshops and a lot of fish and chips shops!
Thanks for everything, and we will come visit you soon for a nice cup of coffee. Greets from Holland!

Lovely place reminds me of my nans house.

We have been to Burnham before and love the area, I had an operation and wanted some sea air upon recovery. When arrived at the B&B it is quant and clean. We were shown to our room and was bombard with questions to what we wanted for breakfast and time we wanted it, we would have like to have been able to settle first the been asked. With this been said the door to the room was a pain to lock on the outside as I didn't catch Jenny on how to lock the door with been bombarded with breakfast questions. Hugh is rude, aggressive and standoffish. You couldn't ask questions if you wanted to as Hugh got aggressive and in your face he even scared me and my partner. The bathroom is small even though it was clean and useable but still way to small to move around in it. The bed by the door was noisy and the bed by the radiator was far to hot to sleep next too.. we weren't greeted in the morning at breakfast even though my partner said good morning loud enough and it was a few minutes before Jenny came in and greeted us. We weren't asked how I like my eggs in the morning semi don't like fried eggs or mushrooms. Yes the breakfast was okay but mine been a veggie was just one sausage, few beans and one slice of toast. The wii-fi was slow on my phone and couldn't be reached on my tablet. Overall not happy and would not recommend.
