Wow... Just plain wow...
We left from Hua Hin to this small island for 3 nights. Took us 3 hours in total. The resort picked us up, and drove us to the boat. I recommend you all to stay for a while to experience the true island life. The food is amazing and the resort have all you need. Snacks, booze, snorkeling stuff etc.
Book your stay! Thai villas by the beach. And just enjoy and reload your batteries. Im going back for sure, this is a diamond.

We had the pleasure of staying at this resort for 2 nights and enjoyed the setting and serenity. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We had occasion to snorkel a few times, we found it good and must acknowledge they are doing a superb job of rebuilding the coral reef! The accommodation too expensive as the facility as whole is tired and in need of attention and repair. We were shocked at the price charged given the room we stayed in and lack of maintenance. On the positive side it is a place to get some R & R and enjoying lovely sunsets.

Koh talu is a fantastic Island we have stayed there years ago, this time we only when there to make scuba diving intet near coast to the Island. The sites was not the best but our analyse is that in clear water is will be nice. The stay on the Island is compard to simulationerne Island much to expencive. The hotel is not ok to many this is no in the rigth shape, it need to some follow up. It is a petty sine the concept idea is great. Also the turtel bredningen on the island is a super idea and good for our World.

We spent a week at Koh Talu Island resort and we loved it.
Maybe 7 days is a quite long stay, 3 nights would have been an ideal length of stay but everything was lovely.
The beach is wonderful (better coral bay than perl bay) and the corals just 50 m away, the staff was super friendly and super kind and and we got a full board included in the price. The food was delicious and every night a seafood bbq was provided.
The thai villa accommodation was not luxury but fair with a big terrace and placed just in front of the sea.
If you come from Bangkok the most convenient way to reach the island is to take a mini van from Bangkok to Hua Him and to arrange a second transfer directly with the hotel office, we spent 350 bath each for the transport from Hua Him to the pier.
All the activities in the resort (snorkeling trip, coral planting, fishing, kayak and catamaran experience) were included in the price and I can say it would be perfect for a large family...

Booked three nights directly with the resort. The package seems to be expensive at first since they only sell all inclusive package (except drinks) but activities are also included. The island is very nice and it's only a 20 Minutes ride by speedboat. Accommodations are Thai standards but ok. Food is pretty good with either buffet or à la carte depending on the number of guests on the island. Activities include snorkeling every morning but we didn't go since it was raining during two mornings. We sailed on a catamaran one of the morning and also used their kayaks. Every evening they also go to fish squids (good luck if you can catch one)! But what is the most pleasant in this island is the staff who are all and I really mean all of them so friendly. You never feel a relation like customer - employee but they treat you like you were friends coming to visit their place. That made our stay enjoyable and maybe we will try to come back but not in the rainy season.
