We stayed 3 nights at kuku.
He was unfriendly and unhelpful host.
The room was ant infested with no hot water and a large unconfortable bed. We needed to ask the unfriendly host everytime we needed wifi aka portable hotspot that he carries on him..
The only time he spoke to us was to advertisr his restaurant and then to make sure that we checked out 30 minutes earlier...
We asked him to book trains for us from jaisalmer to delhi. He told us that he would take 150rs per person for commission... And that the ticket was 1410rs for a 12h train... (that doesnt exist)
We went to the train station by ourselves and got the tickets for 910rs... So he was charging us 500rs for commission!
The reviews on booking.com doesnt seems legit...
Wouldnt recommend. Stay away!

The only thing to recommend this hotel is the price. So, if you are happy to put up with a really uncomfortable bed, a lot of noise, a not-so-clean bathroom, a very poor breakfast and above all a manager who doesn't give a toss, then maybe go for it.

Beware, we were told it would be an ac room with cable tv and free toiletries, as well as free breakfast and wi-fi in ALL areas (not only in the reception) None of these were included when we arrived except for a barely functioning ac. On top of this we were asked to pay a much higher price than advertised on booking.com. He also charged us more for a busticket than its actual price. Disappointed and wont recommend this to anyone. We made a mistake not reading the other reviews on this place as that would have provided us with sufficient warning.

Stayed here a few months back, lovely place, went for the fort facing room for 100R more, still a pretty damn low price. we got a clean painted double room, nice flooring, en suite. Not sure if somethings changed recently looking at reviews below, but we thought it was great. Owner is friendly and helpful, even invited us to a wedding!

Kuku has potential but he has no idea. He did find us a bus from Jodhpur to Pushkar direct-it went to Hardipur stopping at Pushkar. On the bus the ticket was for the day before so we had to pay again -our fault for not checking. I phoned him from the bus to see if he would speak to the conductor-he cut me off & the 2nd time he told me I had the wrong number-it was him and his mobile I was talking to. The bedding was filthy roof top to eat was dirty and v uncomfortable. Breakfast ok curry not good. He doesn't deserve people to stay-don't go.
