Just a place to sleep
GoIATravelon 10/08/2017 22:26We booked this hotel because (1) it had AC, (2) the website said they had a pool, (3) the website said they had refrigerators int he rooms. Well, I guess one out of 3 isn't bad, or is it???
It was almost 0 out of three as the AC only just slowly released a little cool air. The fridges used to bed there, but they removed them, there was never a pool and the so called, spa, is now closed. Breakfast is NOT included. If you just need a place for an overnight, then stop here for a very budget (not budget-priced) hotel. Otherwise, skip it. I must, however, say that most of the staff members were very nice and helpful, but that was about all I can say good about this place.
Nice hotel but usual surrounding
Becky Bon 31/07/2017 10:25Hotel was nice. Clean rooms. Excellent staff. We were there for 10 days for Mondial Air Balloon. Staff was excellent especially the front desk. Some spoke English but we were able to still communicate with the others. The housekeeping staff was good also. They worked with us despite our unusual hours. Didn't eat breakfast but friends said it was good. Breakfast was extra (10 Euros). 5 Euros per load for the laundry. The front desk does it for you. Our hotel is next to the Lemon Hotel which appears to be a hotel for refuges. They were no problem. Just had to watch out for the children playing. The hotel is in an area of discount stores but across the major highway is an excellent outdoor mall and a lot of places to eat.
Nice hotel, surroundings a bit strange
Meijerinkon 09/10/2016 18:31We spent one night at this hotel on our way to the Alps. The hotel is OK, quite standrad, except for the Formula 1 theme. Reception was friendly, rooms are good and clean. The hotel across has been turned into a refugee centre, which gives a strange feel (not bad). The hotel is located in an area with large stores that are closed in the evening, which gives a slight eery feel. Eating places (such as MacDonalds and a pizza place) are close by.
It is not close to the Metz centre though, so if you plan to visit Metz, a hotel close to the centre is better.
Hotel in a deteriorated neighborhood
SanderBerkouweron 18/08/2016 13:57This hotel is fun with loads of Formula 1 memorabilia hanging in both the rooms, halls and dining area!
However, with the Lemon Hotel (what's in a name?) across the street, the neighborhood of this hotel has deteriorated fast. If you're unfortunate enough to get assigned a room at the front of the hotel, you'd not get much sleep.
The hotel Wi-Fi was poor with an average bandwidth of 3 KB/s, during our stay, that, fortunately, only lasted one night.

reilly2010on 14/07/2016 06:55Booked for 3 nights ,hotel comfy enough but to far out of Metz ,cost 30eu for a taxi as there is no public transport ,saw some reviews saying breakfast was no very good selection ,there were lots of fruit meat and boiled eggs,bread etc. there was a big tureen which had nothing in it ,with a notice in French if you want bacon and eggs just ask one of the staff we did and after about 5 mins got loads of bacon ad eggs.Stayed one night great sleep but moved to another hotel in Metz to be close to the action ,Metz is lovely. Staff in hotel very good ,helpul and we did find some who spoke english ,but our fault for not being able to speak french.
