Let’s face it, Coronado is flat out overpriced every day of the week. We had a special occasion to attend and didn’t want to Uber or drive home late at night so we got a room for the night. After some initial confusion at the front desk we got our room and parking figured out. We only spent the night in the hotel and didn’t encounter any issues. We’d stay here again in the future if we had a similar situation.

The hotel is moderately priced and centrally located. The room was comfortable and the morning coffee much appreciated. A good lower priced option on Orange Avenue, nothing was more than a 10 minute stroll in either direction.

Every time we come to Coronado we stay at La Avenida! It's close to everything and quiet and relaxing! Has a pool if you prefer a pool versus the beach. You can walk to the stores and to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!

I was in Coronado for a couple of days to participate in a run and needed a convenient place downtown. I had spent quite a bit of time in Coronado while in the Navy, and remembered this place, which turned out to be perfect. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, and I felt right at home again. Veronica was in the office on both days, and was particularly helpful in making sure this was a positive experience. Parking was a real bonus, and that coupled with the convenient location and awesome staff make this a highly recommended stop if you're in the area.

what a wonderful experience I recently had at La Avienda Inn .
met manager Ulirike Parvini Oct 29.Strolled by and made a reservation .
On my return Nov13/17 all was in order.Friendly staff young student lady recommended some dinner restaurants.
Felt safe to walk about down to The BoatHouse over to the beach and back to Inn.
Restfull night in a clean comfy room.Night clerk Moises Mata helped me reset the room clock and called for an early wakeup call.My phone battery was dead and he let me make my flight checking on hotel computer.So helpful.
Coronado Cab Co was on time.we enjoyed a cup of tea ,fruit and pastry to Go.
