This quaint hotel is charming; it is a very old house with beautiful rooms, and with a wonderful decoration; very well balanced. You feel at home and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a great stay.

We stayed here for two nights. Wished we could have stayed longer. It's a house full of charm and a bit quirky! If you're looking for a modern hotel experience then look elsewhere. However, if you want something a little different, and great value for money, then try here. Our room (Azul) was spacious enough and had a great view. The location is right in the centre of Arcos de la Frontera, so you are close to all the tourist spots. Remy and his family are great hosts, and have set the house out to be very welcoming for guests.
There is a small grocery shop opposite the main entrance if you need to buy food or drink. Tapas is readily available, and not too expensive ( in my opinion ).
We'll definitely be back for another stay.

If you're looking for luxury, stay at the Parador but, if you want to stay in an old house in the heart of the old town that's a little rough around the edges, La Casa de Bovedas is wonderful. The hosts are lovely and helpful. We stayed in the room named Azul which is the best room in the house. Fantastic views with a door that leads to a patio with more wonderful views.

My family and I just stayed at this hotel. It is absolutely charming, breathtaking, and unique. From the moment that you get to Arcos you are pleasantly surprised, then you get to this charming hotel and you are captivated. It transports you to a different time and you really don’t want to leave. I must also add that the service that we were provided was absolutely stunning!!
If I could give it 10 instead of 5 stars, I would!

We were received with a very warm welcome from our host Remy. He checked us in, helped us with a parking (vital in this small town) and gave us great advice about restaurants and sites to see. The room was charming, well decorated in a sympathetic local style, but with all necessities. Wi-fi was good and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small but very manageable.
Breakfast the next morning was in a nearly perfect location, (see photo) served with a smile and enough information about other great things to see and do.
We also discovered about Sherry “En Rama” which if you like sherry you should investigate before you come to the region. Quite wonderful.
Highly recommended.
