What People are saying

Excellent boutique bed and breakfast

Marie B on 11/10/2015 13:01

We stayed at La Casa Noble for one week in September 2014. Excellent is an inadequate description for this wonderfully restored residence. The owner was truly amazing, tapas on our late arrival and the most wonderful breakfasts every morning. We were so lucky to be there at the time if the Romeira, a traditional festival celebration which started at 5am. We travelled in a procession on a horse drawn carriage surrounded by locals in traditional dress singing, eating and drinking all the way. The men looked amazing in their traditional dress riding their horses. A wonderful day which ended at 11pm when we arrived home exhausted.
Melanie the owner was truly amazing the most wonderful host. A holiday to remember forever and ever......

Exemplary

We recently enjoyed an exceptional break at La Casa Noble. This beautifully & sensitively restored centuries old home is an enchanting base from which to explore the many rustic trails of the Aracena region.

The warm, personal, & friendly hospitality provided by Melanie & Anna is outstanding.

The enthusiastic welcome 'on the mat' included an invitation to afternoon tea & delicious freshly prepared homemade cakes in the salon.

Evenings kicked off with a congenial glass of Vino Tinto with friends by the cosy fireside. We were regaled by anecdotes of local history, interspersed with very valuable gems of advice/directions to assist with our trail planning for the following day.

Breakfast each morning was an inspirational creation of quality cuisine served with style in an elegant dining room. The decor of this room is a flawless masterpiece of intricately restored frescoes - a living testament to the painstaking dedication & commitment of the owner.

We vote that Melanie continues to provide this very unique & special brand of hospitality.... Priceless !!

A first-rate B&B

We recently spent four nights at La Casa Noble. High summer is not Aracena's high season and we were the only guests at the inn. We were treated with the greatest cordiality by Ana, the resident manager. (The owner was away on vacation.) An Australian couple who had been helping to oversee the inn in the owner's absence were returning home just after we arrived, but they, too, could not have been more cordial and helpful. The inn itself is a meticulously restored mansion from the early 220th century and quite lovely. Our large room at the back of the inn was completely quiet. Breakfast's were served on a patio (there are several) overlooking the town and the castle and church high on the hill. There were growing things everywhere. The breakfast was served on lovely plates with fine linens and was handsomely presented. (The standard breakfast is continental; eggs, etc. are 10 euros extra and worth it if you crave them.)

Aracena is not a place for fine dining, but there are a many restaurants and tapas bars serving perfectly adequate food. The Grotta des Maravillas is not to be missed. The surrounding countryside is hilly and beautiful, with many attractive small towns to be visited. Aracena, though quite close to Sevilla, is not much visited, but it well worth a few days, especially if you can stay at La Casa Noble.

Wonderful stay; beautiful house

We have recently returned from a short but wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Aracena. We were warmly welcomed by Sue, Anna and Steve who are currently looking after La Casa Noble. Just by chance we were the only guests there that weekend and we were made to feel like royalty. Their friendly approach to the guests is fantastic and very soon you feel lke friends visiting a family you have known for a long time. The house is stunningly decorated and could easily be opened up as a tourist attraction.
If you are looking for a really special treat then this is without doubt the place to head for. The gourmet breakfasts we enjoyed on the terrace, with stunning views across the town, would have graced any fine hotel. The candles in a pretty muffin to celebrate my birthday was so kind and thoughtful.
Many thanks for a very special finish to ur walking holiday.

A beautiful house

La Casa Noble is an exceptional house just a short walk from the centre of Aracena. It has been restored by its Australian owner and is now very special indeed - beautiful tiling, lovely wall painting, imaginative decorations. I had the Serenedad suite - bliss. The best bathroom ever.
Breakfast on the terrace has a wonderful view overlooking Aracena towards the Moorish fort on top of the hill which sits in the middle of the town. The Jacuzzi was great in the afternoon.
The only slightly weak point was the breakfast which consisted of sweet pastries and rather
ordinary coffee. It this was improved, the place would be perfect.
