Wonderfully restored colonial house in the old town, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms. The view at night from the mirador right at the top of the hotel is well worth the climb. Great spread at breakfast and good a la carte menu for dinner.

Had an absolutely positive experience with this hotel. A lovely spot to relax after work and enjoy the touristic area of the historical center of Quito. Staff was outstanding and helpful with every request and went out of the way to assist me. Highly recommended!

This hotel is in a great location for visiting the Old Town. We had a room with a beautiful view of the Lady of Quito - #12, great to wake up to in the morning. A seriously "huge" bed!
We only ate breakfast in the hotel - the food was fresh with a wide selection to suit all tastes.
Staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - a great choice

This is a lovely old Spanish-style town house converted to an hotel with welcoming and helpful staff. It has a character of its own which makes up for its few shortcomings such as very thin walls separating some rooms from each other so sound carries through. It is very central to the Old Town and, if you are there on a Sunday, ideally placed for the hubbub of activity as the area is turned over to pedestrians and cars are banned. It has its own restaurant (good choices at breakfast) and there are plenty of eating places nearby but it is not recommended to be out in the city after 9pm except Sundays.

A brilliant and beautiful hotel! Although it was right in the centre of the old quarter of Quito it was amazingly quiet. Excellent facilities and spacious, well equipped rooms, traditionally styled with amazing decorative touches throughout. Lovely staff, couldn't do enough to help. Step out through the discreet wooden doors, straight onto La Ronda. Returning to the hotel, particularly in the evening, the door was usually buzzed and opened for us by a friendly policeman. Fabulous city - safe and not 'touristy'. Just sit in the Plaza Grande with a coffee and watch the world go by. Thank you so much Maria for your care and attentiveness - from your friends the 'two sisters'!
