I rated the "resort" average since the cost is low and it is on the bay with a nice view of the sunsets. The service was good but the place is just OK. The beds were not comfortable, toilet did not flush completely, you only get one bottle of water even for a stay of multiple nights. The breakfast was included, ours was cut fresh fruit, coffee, and 4 pieces of toast. There is an option for better breakfast but we did not buy that option. Prices are OK for food and beer (50 pesos each). Exchange of dollars at front desk was 16.5 per USD when bank exchange was about 17 per USD. Nice to have it available. Biggest complaint is all the parties hosted by the resort. First OXXO party Friday night. The next night a wedding and again on Sunday another wedding. No quiet nights at the pool during the weekend! The parking lot is not smooth but full of 6-8" rocks. Parking fills up during the parties which last into the night. AC did work and was not loud. TV was OK but remote only half worked. They changed the water heater so we were without hot water the whole day. Since it was Nov, the cold water was OK for a shower. We wanted to snorkel with the whale sharks and the front desk set it up for about 51 USD. The operator picked us up in the lobby and returned us after a fun time with the sharks. This was a plus for the resort. They have kayaks to rent so there are some nice things about the resort. I guess for the money, it is a pretty good deal.
Summary: a good price for what you get.

$40-$50 rate is for motel next door that is under renovations. Floors dirty. Showers dirty and drain clogs. Able to use resort amenities and view is great but room was pretty gross. You get what you pay for!

Very quaint modest resort, with clean rooms and very friendly personnel. Nice clean appointed rooms, although on the smaller, they all face the ocean, however not all the rooms have an ocean view. Nice pool and small restaurant and pool bar. The best part of this resort is the nice shallow private beach!! Excellent for kayaking!

We had just been rescued from St. Maarten after Hurricane Irma, so we were willing to take any room we could get, fortunately for us La Concha turned out to be a great place. Awesome pool and rooms with a very helpful staff. The first real meal we had in days as at "Delicias" and the food was amazing. Our waiters Jose Cruz and Carlos Gomez took extra steps to make sure not only our meal but the entirety of out stay was fantastic.

We hosted our wedding in La Paz in August 2014. We had 50 of our closest family and friends join us for a week of relaxation and fun. We rented condos from the La Concha condominiums via b&b and the hotel as well as had some guests stay in the hotel. The condominiums are absolutely beautiful, great views and amazing sizes and finishes. The rooms are decent too, and are a great price! The beach is Stunning, the hotel is beautiful, very traditional. We had the most amazing wedding and loved absolutely every moment, and so did our family and friends. We hope all to come back one day soon for a reunion.
