What People are saying
great 2 days seminar

We had a 2 days seminar with 9 People. Friendly staff. A real cosy nice big house with a 2d modern building. Great location with nice view on the castle (5 to 10' walk from the city) from the terrasse and veranda, good meeting room at ground floor with access to outside, very nice and clean standard rooms and great exclusive and suite rooms.
The restaurant is outstanding. Excellent lunches and dinner, very tasty with good local products and a real talent to make great cooking combinations. A real excellent table. Wellness (sauna, hammam, hot tube, massage) not used (out of season: inform in advance the reception if you want to use it). Breakfast was also great with again high quality products and home made jam,...
The bar is also pleasant with a good choice and tasty drink sides.
It was a real great experience. I strongly recommend it for seminars ( your colleagues will love it) or family or couple.
Excellent, but...

Very nice location, wonderful 4 persons suite, very quiet, really pleasant spa (sauna, jacuzzi, hammam, ...), very nice staff, charming breakfast buffet, ... We just regret the restaurant was not open when we stayed at the place. We had no time to pay a visit to the bar and the terrace but seemed very pleasant so probably for our next stay. The only inconvenient we had in the suite was the absence of airconditioning. 26° during the day and quite a hot night but no airco to decrease the accumulated heat in the suite... very unbearable unfortunately. Also no mosquito-net so sleeping with open windows was not an option. This is the only reason why I would give a 3/5 for the room. A real pity as everything else was really wonderful and a very good surprise !!
second visit, even better than first visit

This was our second visit to this hotel and its restaurant. First time, we had a room in the old building, this time we had a suite in the new building, which was very large and we were very much surprised by the quality of this room. The view from the hotel is phantastic. We had very nice weather, so it was a pleasure to have drinks on the terrace.
We had booked a gastronomical week-end, on Friday we had a 4 course menu, on Saturday a 6 course menu. Everything was excellent, with sometimes surprisingly combinations and unknown flavours. Also breakfast was top of the bill. Certainly will not hesitate to book this hotel and restaurant again on next occasion. We had no time to try the wellness, but will do that next time.
Amazing breakfast!

This establishment is primarily known for its top flight restaurant, which was closed during our stay and wouldn't have been appropriate for a family with tweens anyway. However, we got the benefit of its culinary prowess at breakfast time.
An assortment of fresh breads, fine cheeses, hams and pates, housemade preserves (apricot-rhubarb!), together with some unusual items, like a soured milk drink (sounds weird but was strangely refreshing) and several custard-based items. Flan for breakfast! My tweens were in 7th heaven! I wished we had stayed another night so I could have tried more things, since there is only so much you can eat for breakfast!
The hotel room was nice and quite up-to-date and my gymnast kids enjoyed bouncing on the trampoline which was part of a small kids' play area. We stayed in a quad which was at the top and back of the building and so didn't get a view (and had spotty in-room wifi), but the couples rooms looked out over the terrace and had their own balconies (and the wifi was stronger on the lower floors, too).
Star quality

We visited this hotel for one night in april for the gastronomic combo and were blown away by the quality of the modern rooms above the spa, the design of the spa and the delicious food.
Make sure to try their homebaked bread at the breakfast or the ones accompanied with the 6 course ( or 5 course ) menu. They are super addictive!
