We only stayed one night, but the location is excellent, the price is nice and the a/c worked perfecrly. I would totally stay here again. Staff was friendly, there was vwry little noise in the room (and we were next to the elevator).

We loved the quirky Moorish decor. The staff are super friendly, informative and all around helpful. The location is ideal, a short walk to all of the main tourist sites.
Ask for a room at the rear away from the road.
I asked in advance for a quiet room but ended up over the street. The road was too noisy to open the windows, consequently the room became very stuffy overnight.
I would have preferred to pay more for a less than basic breakfast.
A nice hotel but could be that little bit better.

Lonely planet will tell you don't take a room next to reception because of the noise level. That's rubbish, we had reception and roadside but the room is so well insulated that its very quiet inside and we slept well. Staff were friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. There is good Wi-Fi but doesn't seem to be any other facilities available.The hostel is close to the main town and very close to the train station.

The room is small but very cosy. The breakfast is good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The locations is very good, nearby you can find a lot options of good restaurants and things to do and shop.

We only stayed one night on our way to the south. I loved the Moorish touches and the colors they used gave the place a funky hippie feeling.Sleep quality was good, with good functioning a.c. and wifi in the room. Breakfast very simple, but again: for that money good value. Staff was helpful and friendly. Paid parking just around the corner. You can walk to all the highlights, but wear sensible shoes!
Recommended!
P.S. They DO have an elevator and no noise from the street in the front rooms.
