The hotel was a little difficult to find but pretty well located for all the major attractions and was definitely in the quiet and restful bracket. We a party of 4 were 50% of the occupancy during our stay.
The welcome was warm, the rooms are clean and functional rather than luxurious. The sendero ecologico was somewhat overgrown and slippery underfoot so not really appropriate for senior guests but there were some beautiful butterflies and hummingbirds flying around the beautiful setting although they should pull the litter out of the small creek in the valley.
The real disappointment was the breakfast was that it took ages to arrive, 30 minutes for scrambled eggs and some fruit, really! Also the Colombian poor practice of ripping off a captive audience was on full display when a plate of fruit costs Co$5,000 when a very good restaurant down the road does a better size and variety for Co$2,500.
All in all for the minor complaints it was tranquil and relaxed throughout our stay with friendly and helpful staff.

La Floresta Hotel Campestre and La Floresta Finca Hotel are one and the same. It is located about 600 yards off the paved highway. It is not fancy but it was clean, the staff was very friendly, and it was in a peaceful, quiet setting. The bed was firm was our sleep was restful although I had to turn off the ceiling fan because it was noisy. There was a nice short ecological trail (about an hour walk) on the hotel property. The breakfast that comes with the room is simple but sufficient. Overall, I was satisfied and pleased with the hotel.

My husban adn I had a great time at this finca hotel. Ideal if you have kids, it has a little pool and park. Very close to parque del cafe and panaca. The people in there are very polite and helpfull . Marisol and Hoover make you feel at home with their help, suggestions and special tratment to our daughter. I definelty will come back soon
