Lovely Boutique Hotel in nice area with superb restaurant

This is a really nice Boutique hotel that is pleasing on the eye has been designed in true Andalusian style around a couple of patios and a couple of sunny terraces overlooking Benalmadena and the coast. It is situated in a historic village which although now has been engulfed by the sprawl of the coastal development, has still maintained its tranquility and offers a more up market experience of the Costa del Sol, with numerous quality restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious, well decorated and really well appointed, but being set in the court yard around the pool was dark and claustrophobic and it was impossible to lie in, due the noise the noise that echoed around the building from an early hour. However this was a small inconvenience and was more than made up by the quality of the catering at both breakfast and in the restaurant. The seven course Mediterranean tasting menu we had one night during our stay was not only a great experience, but one of the best meals we have ever had, and was also great value at 35e each. We managed to find free parking in the village, but the hotel offers secure underground parking for a reasonable 5e a day. Would not hesitate returning to this hotel especially if we could get a room with a terrace and sea view.
The restuarant was well priced

We really were surprised by this hotel. Not a lot of rooms constructed around two patios; one with the swimming pool. Excellent restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner with top quality food. Friendly and helpful staff. You can enjoy the sunshine on the roof top.
Nice hotel but diappointing service

We stayed one night at Hotel La Finda. The hotel and room were very nice and the location is quiet with good views. On the negative side the service was below average - slow, not very friendly. The breakfast was also disappointing with terrible juices and proper capucinos charged at 3.50 euros...
Just so disapointed

This has the potential to be a very good Hotel and the good points are it was very clean and away from the madness off Benalmandena yet surrounded by bars and restaurants. Rooms do have good balcony’s and the breakfast was excellent ,compliments to the chef. The negative points are the sun deck is very small and noisy with an extractor fan blowing all day and a massive crane very close bleeping and squeaking not great for sunbathing. The swimming pool is very small and more indoor than outdoor as its in the center of the building and never gets much sun. There is steam rooms and lovely indoor pool but you have to pay which again is very poor as you would expect the use to be in the price of the room. The rooms are good although the beds are very hard and the pillows are incredibly soft . One of the main issues is the cleaners started making noises very early in the morning wheeling their trolleys around and banging doors which made it impossible to have a lie in . The check out is not flexible we just wanted to stay a few hours longer which was a no. We asked if we could use a room to freshen up in the afternoon again no. They did say if we paid 20 euro we could use the spar shower which was so poor as we had spent allot staying there. The staff were very mixed some were very unhelpful on arrival no help with our bags and left to work out where our room was and lacking complete customer service. I think it has lots of potential but defiantly not for me . I would not recommend ....
