It felt like a fairy tale to be guest in this amazing hotel. A very warm reception, wonderful spacious room with not only perfect beds but also an amazing view. Splendid dinner and breakfast. And the bonus: a beautiful swimming pool. After a short trip of 25 minutes, there is this beautiful park El Torcal de Antequera.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings, we had previously visited for a coffee one day as we live nearby. The room we had was spacious and although there was air con in the room (albeit hidden above the bathroom and difficult to put on and off) it was not needed as the room was cool even though the temperature outside was hot. If you want peace and quiet then this is the hotel for you..... once in your room you didn't hear anything at all....
The only thing that lets this hotel down is the lack of a lunch menu or snack menu. Being in the middle of nowhere you can't just walk outside and find somewhere to have a snack, you would need to drive! We were offered the dinner menu at lunchtime, which was not good.
The outside pool was lovely and peaceful and warmer than the indoor pool!
The spa had all the normal facilities and again peaceful.
I had a massage and although it was a very good massage, I don't like to rise immediately it is finished, a drink of mineral water should be offered and you should be given 5-10 mins to "come to" after a massage.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
There are 3 routers around the hotel so the wifi signal is strong, but the internet is slow as fibre optic is not an option so far from a town.
All in all a very pleasant place to stay.

I visited La Fuente del Sol last week firstly as a guest at my father's wedding that was held there. The whole hotel was booked out for guests and it was truly, truly amazing as a venue. The views and the facilities made for a very romantic and perfect day.
I was supposed to be flying home this Monday, but loved it so much that I extended my stay for another two days, having the place almost to myself. Due in part to the location this is a perfect hideaway for a single girl on holiday - you have everything you need without ever having to leave the grounds. But also for a family it would be perfect - there is an indoor pool and spa, an outdoor pool with loungers, a gym, massages, a restaurant with first class food, along with various activities such as horse riding, a tennis court, several walks and bike hire.
I cant wait to go back later in the year!

Nice hotel in a beautiful location if you don't mind a bit of a drive.
Friends and I went for a meal there as it's open to none guests, I'm afraid I cannot recommend it for food.
It is very expensive for the minute amount you get. It also took at least 40 minutes to arrive, and was only look warm when it did, also served on cold plates.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week. Just beautiful. We made it our base while visiting different towns in Andalucia. We arrived just before dark, the staff is great, ready to help in any way. Nacho, Rosa and Jose all speak English, communicating was not a problem. The hotel sits high above and at night you are able to see the small towns and cities lit, far in the distance. If travelling in the winter, they have a massive fireplace in the lounge area, just beautiful. We did not have dinner at the restaurant since we were traveling around the area, but did have appetizers one night and they were excellent. Highly recommend it. It was very nice to come back to this peaceful, beautiful truly Spanish hotel in the evenings. Oh! And there are this two sweet guys that live at the hotel, and if you are an animal lover you will enjoy meeting them. They were the first to greet us when we arrived. A sweet dog and a young cat.
