If you need a decent simple place to sleep close to Altea Hills then this is not a bad option.
For people with no transport this is a no-go as it's distant from Altea and Calpe, but if you have a car and want a night sleep, then OK even while there are better places around.

Pleased to have found this place. Nice setting, excellent meal, nice staff. Great if you have the kids/grand kids with you as they can play around in the pool while you enjoy your meal. Pork dishes particularly nice.

I guess we should have read more reviews before we booked. I agree for the price the place was clean and friendly but not appropriate for us. We thought that we could leave the car for 2 days and walk to restaurants and a beach but this turned out not to be the case. The hotel location is off a very busy bend on the 332 and there is nothing of interest (or accessible safely) around it to walk to. We didn't end up staying and forfitted the obligatory one night cost.
