Stayed in one of the rooms adapted for disabled guests. It has a mini-hallway and a bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has a Super King bed, but the size of the room meant it was impossible to get a wheelchair to either side of the bed. This was resolved by the staff splitting the bed into two singles and pushing them against the walls. This meant there was just enough room to get the wheelchair between. The unfortunate consequence was that all light switches and sockets were then behind the bed headboard, so not accessible. The bathroom had a flat floor shower, but with a fitted corner seat / water sprays and nowhere to hold onto. The hand held spray worked, but the attachment and support were both broken. The shower had adequate pressure, but continually alternated between very cold and scalding hot, making showering difficult. This was raised with the staff and supposedly fixed for the next day, however there was no obvious change and the water still oscillated between cold and burning hot.
The washbasin was accessible but was only loosely fixed to the wall, and was propped up on a piece of pipe work between the waste pipe and the floor. This was not fixed, and would be fine for an able bodied person, but a wheelchair user is inevitably going to catch it with legs or chair.
The hotel has a bar on the top floor which hosts very loud music till 2am on Friday and Saturday. This was audible in our room four floors below!
Reception staff were very helpful and breakfast was good.

The hotel is located close to the central train station and to the Diocletian Baths. It is decorated with good taste. The quality of the meals is excellent. It is very pleasant to sit in the roof bar and resataurant.

What a lovely hotel ! Quiet , friendly staff, comfortable room and great breakfast !! Joseph was also very friendly and helpful !! And I got engaged here !! Will hold many happy memories for me !! ❤️ what a fantastic time in Roma !

I enjoyed everything about this hotel, the location, friendliness, breakfast and free drinks upstairs overlooking the city. The only thing I didn't like was the bed. It was not comfortable. The springs were bad and as soon as you laid on it, you'd sink. The room was beautiful and we had a nice balcony but the bed just did not match the quality I would expect from this nice hotel. They also did not have a top sheet for the bed although I assume I could ask for one. Even so, I would stay here again and just ask for a different room if needed. It was located so close to the train station, metro and bus stations. It was also a 10 min. walk to the Coliseum. We enjoyed a night walk through the city as well. Lovely experience.

No complaints about Room 500 which was quiet,had a large comfortable bed, 2 armchairs,desk and a good size bathroom with roll top bath and shower attachment. This was awkward and it was very difficult to use without getting wrapped in the shower curtain and soaking the floor. Our towels and lovely Etro Milano toiletries were changed daily and complimentary water. My husband's phone charger broke and one of the reception staff kindly lent him his until we left the next morning. Everything felt very relaxed. Ma Griffe is on the busy Via Nazionale with plenty of restaurants and clothes shops open till 8pm. Termini station for metro or buses is an easy 10 minute walk, the Colosseum is a 20 minute walk. The restaurant has an excellent wine list and a meal for 2 with wine was about £120.
