We stopped here for a night in transit up to the Amazon.
The hotel is very basic, but clean and tidy and the staff are pretty friendly and has secure parking below.
The location is pretty cool with only a short walk (or Touc Touc ride) to some reasonable shops and restaurants.
Maybe its not everyones cup of tea, but remember this is Peru and alternatives are very limited in this area.

If you need to go to Andahuaylas, this is a good option to stay. Not fancy and with no facilities, is just good for sleeping. If you need Internet access, will have to go to the lobby. Ok breakfast. Ok for the price. Don´t expect fanciness!

Good hotel, spacious and clean rooms. Excellent beds, we stayed in rooms with two queen sized beds. Although the hotel is situated in the main street, it was quit at night.
Nice garden.
Private parking in garage.
Seems by far the best hotel in a very simple small town.

I'm not sure if there's much reason to visit andahuaylas as a tourist but if you are travelling from ayacucho to cusco it's a good place to crash between long bus rides. The hotel was surprisingly nice with a pleasant garden area and free tea on offer. However the rooms were quite cold, the shower wasn't great and the wifi unusable. Having said that it was clean and good for a few hours sleep - probably the best option in town.
On a side note if you are getting the 4am bus to cusco don't freak out too much if the bus station is closed until 3.55am - someone will eventually turn up and so will the bus. :)

Hotel is a well managed and it was a pleasure to stay here, hot shower not warm(can be hard to find in the Andes), great internet if you need to skype or work. Very clean and the owners and all the staff were helpful.
