Needs Some Love
Jackie Pon 30/03/2017 17:03This is the most expensive La Quinta in the Lafayette area (in the Oil Center which is a high traffic, thriving, economic area), so I had high expectations based on my travels at other pricey La Quinta’s. This location was disappointing for the price we paid. We stayed in a king suite which was spacious, but the sofa was discolored (or dirty) and had a tear on the back. (I have attached pictures to better describe.) When we walked in, the room smelled stagnant and musty. The toilet in the bathroom rocked when we used it. This room needs some love and a renovation. We stayed on the first floor and our room did not have a room number posted – just a no smoking sign. We used the room numbers around us to figure it out. That being said, the staff was accommodating and friendly. We asked for an extra blanket, and they happily got it immediately. On the plus side, the bed was comfortably firm and the water pressure in the shower was fine. The hotel is conveniently located near many good Cajun restaurants, tourist attractions, and the airport. Keep in mind this is a smaller La Quinta and the parking lot is small, as well.

getting a needed update
463gaylekon 21/03/2017 13:05great location, it is getting a needed update but still a good place and value. Watch traffic when entering and exiting. Close to many attractions. We were upgraded on our room and very pleased with it.
Needs To Be Upgraded
Rissi91on 07/03/2017 15:19We stayed here while we were traveling with our Great Dane. The only good thing about this hotel is that they accept dogs. We had stayed the night before at a La Quinta and had a great experience. This was the complete opposite! I was shocked about how dirty and dated the hotel was especially because it cost $30 MORE than the La Quinta we had stayed at the night before that was much nicer. The bed was lumpy and dipped in the middle. The couch had stains all over it and a big tear on the top. The bathroom sink was clogged with hair. The shower head was disgusting and it came out of a hole in the wall. The person working the front desk looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. I refused to even look at the breakfast after how poorly maintained the hotel room was. And I don't know who was staying above us but they made a lot of noise. We will never stay here again.
Spend your money elsewhere

Housekeeping is horrible, the air conditioner in our room smelled funny, there was mold in the shower and overall maintenance of the propert is not being done (back door to hotel had broken lock). Find someplace else to stay.
