November 7-11, 2017. Very easy access at the intersection of Lincoln & 83 frontage road. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed a quiet, second floor room, newly renovated! Housekeeping staff provided great service while we were out renewing memories of Harlingen. Just like a new room each day upon our return, smelled so fresh and clean. Front desk staff were exceptional! Their smiles, professional attention to details, and helpfulness went beyond expectation. We felt very valued for staying with them. Breakfast was typical and fresh. Lovely pool, but unheated. Walking distance to popular fast food, major grocery. Very short drive to many familiar businesses, shops, restaurants. Area safe for daylight walking.

Had to make a stop for vehicle repair at Ogden Jeep after leaving South Padre Island. Selected Quality Inn. This Motel is awesome. The rooms are neat and very clean. Continental breakfast more than adequate. Staff are very polite as well. Personally its rating is well above what we could selection.

This hotel is not five stars and it's not luxurious but it is everything you need for a good nights stay and a great price. Yes, it was an older room and had some cosmetic scuffs here and there. Bed was not as comfortable as say a Hilton. However, it's centrally located and it is right across the street (walking distance) from an HEB that serves some of the best Pollo Asado you will ever have. Room was clean and had an ironing board, hair dryer, toiletries, alarm clock, refrigerator and microwave. The staff were friendly and there was a breakfast in the morning. If you want to be pampered with luxury, stay elsewhere and be prepared to pay for it. Overall, I emjoyed my stay and consider this a great value. I plan to stay here again the next time I'm in the area. It was all I needed at a great price.

We had the perfect accommodations for 2 adults and 2 children with this 2-room suite for 3 nights. Besides a TV, the large living room had a sofa that made into a bed for the 2 children. The bedroom had a king size bed along with the refrigerator and microwave. This suite doesn't show up when you are searching on the Choice Hotels website. The manager, Rakesh, got on the phone to secure this suite for me. (Great service.)
However, that above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty service did not extend to the desk clerks. When we asked for another set of towels (we had 3 sets for 4 people for 3 nights), "We don't have any more towels." What? And there were no sheets for the sofabed. What?
We made do with the above challenges and enjoyed a good breakfast, wi-fi, a convenient location that was surprisingly quiet (since it is on the freeway), and low low points. It was a good location to visit the surrounding areas: the Iwo Jima Memorial, South Padre, Schlitterbaun, and the Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center

Enjoyed our stay here....very close to shopping and restaurants. We got a quiet room on the backside of the hotel and everything about the room meet all our needs. Check in and out was easy and the breakfast was decent. No complaints.
