First time in Monterey and this hotel is close to everything! Easy access to highways and Cannery Row. Very clean, newly remodeled. Staff was helpful. Parking was easy and always available. Would stay again!

We had a very good stay at the Monterey Hampton. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We felt that breakfast was lacking in variety with the hot foods over our four day stay. The best choice is using the waffle maker to make fresh waffles. The front desk staff was very helpful especially Hope. The location is good, but not super close to Cannery Row and downtown Monterey area. We did walk there once using the walking path early in the morning and were surprised by the number of homeless tents along the way! Overall, I’d recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We spend 3 nights at the Hampton Inn Monterey in October. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. It’s a smaller property which I liked. The Hotel was fairly quiet except for some street noise, but that wasn’t a problem during the night. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and the decor of the breakfast area looked newly remodeled and modern. I always enjoy the coffee bar that is available all day at Hampton Inns. I would definitely stay at this property again when visiting Monterey in the future.

I stay at a lot of hotels for business and you can usually count on Hilton to be OK. Stay away from this place. No TV, No Internet, No protein on the breakfast bar and the staff had not intention of fixing any of it. Plus, if you need to work out because you live on the road, there are two pieces of exercise equipment in a very small room with no ventilation. Avoid this hotel.

Spent a night in Monterey. Hotel is lovely and clean, but you have to drive every where. There’s no where to walk. While close to 17 Mile Dr expect to drive everywhere. But, everything is clean and new. Only negative comment is the pillows are feather pillows and flatten out quickly.
