This was the 3rd La Quinta on our trip from Canada to Texas...the AC did not work room was very smelly the chairs very dirty we did get asked if we wanted to more...I know it was not the lady fault who cheacked us in but have to wonder if room was cleaned.so we left...she did phone the Super 8 for me as we had a dog this is why we stop at the !a Quinta...have done for the last six years I will never stay here again. She did credit us the room but have to wonder if this hotel should be closed while renervations are being done. If the new one was open on south of city she did not tell us...we are members of the hotel point system. It's the same style as the one in Waco but that's being pulled down have to think this one should too. Very disappointed after three days on road.

This older La Quinta was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Over 100 of its rooms were damaged so badly that they are being gutted, the roof is being repaired, and the exterior will have to be fixed. Even so, the staff was helpful and cheerful, and our room was clean and comfortable. The fridge in our room even boasted a working freezer, which is unusual. The WiFi worked well, as did the cable TV. The breakfast bar was very nice. With all the post-Harvey remodeling, I expect this sweet old place will be better than ever. I hope La Quinta's management knows how excellent their staff is there.

The service was wonderful. The staff greeted you at the door and made sure all of your needs were satisfied. The rooms were very clean and presentable. The continental breakfast was good. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I plan on visiting again.

older motel, but you can tell it has been recently painted and taken care of. Denny's located in front parking lot. Target right next door. Victoria Mall across busy street. Right in the middle of several other hotels, but at half the price.
Great value for the money paid. Your not going to get room service. You will get a clean room, and small breakfast of waffles, cereal, etc. For what you pay this is a great hotel.
