With a 14 day holiday on the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrentine peninsula 3 nights we were at Capri in La Reginella and it was the best hotel of 6 hotels from all over. Room number 16 with sea view, Monte Solaro and garden. From the breakfast terrace even nicer view. Clean room with kettle set of coffees and teas plus water in the fridge.Spacious breakfast of 10 types of cheese, 4 types of salami, cereal, croissants, bread, various juices including one orange juice with fresh oranges squeezed in place.10 kinds of cakes including delicious mint in green color. Close to Arco Naturale, Villa Jovis and a 15 minute walk to the bus to Anacapri. Great quiet place to rest and stroll, we recommend to everyone. Owner very helpfull. Thank you for a nice stay. Wish we did not go twice in the same place but ,, never say never

What a lovely place to stay in the highlands of Capri. A short climb up from the town centre, this lovely hotel with bags of character boasts one of the best views of Capri we found. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small private terrace and a good sized bathroom. Brits will also be happy to hear that there's a kettle in the room with tea and coffee!
The highlight of our stay, however, was the breakfast. The manager Alex (very friendly and helpful) is a keen chef and regularly bakes fresh cakes and pastries which are delicious! These are complemented by local fruits and italian meats and cheeses.
Very difficult to find a negative, the only improvements we could think of were slippers in the room and perhaps a heater on the breakfast terrace as it can get a bit chilly.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay, would give a very strong recommendation and would definitely come again.

This hotel made our Capri experience perfect. We had a room with a terrace with see view though we did not book or pay for it explicitly, the air conditioning worked perfectly as well as shower. But the absolute highlight was the breakfast buffet with fresh home made cake and Italian dolches, mini croissants, fresh pressed orange juice, several sorts of market-fresh cheese and ham and many many other delicious things. I have already recommended this hotel to everybody I know. The only downside to by honest is the Wifi which did not work perfectly but I think it is easy to fix.

We loved this hotel, great rooms, delicious breakfasts, great views from room balconies, and great hosts who really looked after their guests. The walk from hotel to waterfront and back again was just right for our daily exercise.

Absolute wonderful experience. I wish we would have stayed longer. From the breakfast, the room, the cleanliness, the location, everything was perfect. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from Capri but it is worth it to have a quiet place in a more local area.
