No aircon in the room but the fan do what you need. Well located and cosy hotel. The breakfast is only what you need to start the day correctly. The staff is easy and helpful. Around the hotel you have all the restaurants you need and also in the late night there is all the night club also. Only 5-15 mins walk. Don't take a taxi and don't walk too slow like a tourist.

Two night stay in a standard room: competitive rate, reasonable size, good choice of furnitures, excellent bed and bathroom equipment, free and working wifi connection, safe and free car parking space, and a beautiful view from the window. Breakfast is ok but overpriced. Service is correct but may be improved by asking for the client's choice each time that is possible. It is also the first hotel where I am requested to provide a copy of my ID document... before it is copied by the front desk staff. The other important constraint is the lack of a restaurant in the hotel or in the close neighborhoods when walking around in the evening is not advised for safety reasons.

The room had no natural light. It was in the basement over looking a building site where work commenced at 6am even at the weekend.
Having to check out on Sunday at 4pm all hotel services except security finished work at 12pm thereby locking up the communal balcony area which was the only place we could see daylight.
They did not have the facility to accept our card payment so we had to get a taxi into the centre to withdraw cash.
The one occasion we ordered food it was basic and expensive.
In our opinion we would advise people to avoid this hotel.

No room service!
No staff available except in the morning for breakfast ! And a nice security guy at the door throughout the day and night , do not disturb sign doesn't exist and it's very noisy especially in the morning! Not advised..........

I'm travelling quite a lot for work and I'm getting fed up with hotel rooms.... This time for a 2 weeks mission in Tana I decided to go at the Residence du Rova. It was great. Very spacious apartment.... I can move around... feel a little at home. It was great. Very good bathroom, hot water with lots of pressure... Nice little kitchen with stove, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine and a fridge. Cleaning is done every day, towels changed every second day... very good and cheap laundry service provided. Wifi is working well.
on the negative sides: was a little noisy in the morning (but may be it just because my apartment was on the ground floor just in front of the main entrance)... and could have 1 or 2 more cooking pots in the kitchen.
will I go back there: for sure! but will ask to be a little away from the main door.
