The only reasons i came here was only for McDonald's.
Before, Merdeka Walk is always crowded
But nowadays, it isn't so crowded anymore.

Along this stretch of road are all restaurants, surprised to see it was not as busy or crowded as I expected it to be, maybe because it was on a Thursday night at ~8pm. We decided to try their local Indonesian food at Ayam Penyet Ria. We ordered total 5 dishes for 2 persons but don't be surprised, their serving portions are very very small, it didn't take them very long to prepare their dishes, and they served piping hot food, price was reasonable too, cost us ~SGD13 for everything including 2 drinks. Except for the satay chicken which was too dry, the rest were quite good For those who can't take spicy hot food, got to be careful, I saw most vegetables from menu are cooked with chilli and it is red hot chilli, (I love that) ! Ambient there was just like any other fast food restaurant, you can also choose to sit outside too but I don't recommend given the air quality was not so good. The only problem I didn't like is that they don't provide a toilet for customers, we were told to use McDonald's. Also a point to note, staff there don't speak much English.

This is one of the hot spots in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia. There are traditional Indonesian culinary presented in modern style, cafes and starbuck for coffee lovers. There is also an arcade center for kids. Mcdonald is located at the corner and it is always crowded with long lines and full tables. There is a jogging track at the back of the food center. When the clock hits 5 pm, you will see all sorts of people busy jogging, yogaing, practising Tai Chi, dancing, playing volley ball. I even saw a group of Pokemon Go players (trainers) there... It is a place where many activities can be done. All in all, this is a great place to spend one's afternoon and evening

Tonnes of food outlets to satisfy your gastronomical adventure in one place- from local food to even McDonald's! Our Grab driver suggested Srikandi so we went there. Good recommendation. Thanks Pak (forgot his name).
Tips: Get a table outside if you want to see people (or you want people to see you!). By "see" i mean, flirting with the goodlooking passersby!

One of the famous place in Medan city. Located in the center of city. There are some hotels near this place, like Santika Hotel, Grand Aston Hotel, and D'Prima Hotel (hotel located in the 3rd floor of Medan Train Station).
One of the good place for hangout with your friends or with your officemate. U can enjoy the historical place near this place, like: Medan Train Staion, Pos Office, London Sumatera Building.
