We arrived on market day and the effort to have our car secured near the hotel was a just amazing.
The rooms were large and comfortable and our host took his time to explain the sightseeing, bars and restaurants that were worth a visit.
For a stop over on a driving journey it is just the best.

This delightful hotel could not be better placed in this delightful walled town on the edge of the picturesque lake. Our only regret - that we were not able to stay longer. Our room was a good size as was the bathroom and both were spotlessly clean. There was a very well stocked mini bar. Breakfast was excellent; both tasty and generous. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Castiglione is a beautiful town with lots to see and plenty of different types of eating and drinking places. We found all prices to be ridiculously good value. We will definitely visit again.

Situated in the heart of the medeival town, the hotel offers large comfortable, well equipped rooms. A perfect location, just minutes to good restaurants and all the sites.
Superb breakfasts. Roberto, Antonella and Simone are great hosts, giving the guest the best possible experience at their hotel. Kind ,thoughtful people. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing the real Italian experience. We stayed 2 weeks and wished for more!

Spotless clean hotel with large room and bathroom. Comfortbl bed. Owners are really nice. In a good location with several excellent restaurants nearby Castiglione de Lago is also a very nice town. Highly recommend

Castiglione is a beautiful village overlooking Lake Trasimeno. Hotel La Torre is in the historic village centre, a perfect location for exploring this lovely little place and the lake area. The hotel is small, family run , very friendly and comfortable. We would heartedly recommend it.
