I stayed there for two nights on a business trip. I can only but recommend this place. The rooms are super comfortable and beautiful. The bed was comfortable. Everything works well. It is very quiet -especially if you ask for a room at the back. The breakfast was good. You can either work or relax without having to worry of anything. The staff is relaxed, helpful and very courteous. There is a sense of home.

I have stayed in Accra several times and have had the experience that you wake up and are completely unsure where you are, so anodyne are your surroundings in my high end hotels.
This was definitely not the case with La Villa. Blessedly set in a lovely garden and located in vibe-y Ossu, this hotel has a sense of place that cannot be topped. I was told that the location had been the site of the Russian consulate, so there is a little patina to it and the hotel is divided into several small buildings which makes it visually and historically more interesting.
In terms of other attributes, I would note that La Villa has a great restaurant - which I ate at more than once (even though I avoid all hotel restaurants as a rule) because of the quality of the food. Very lovely grouper dish.
LV also has a very comfortable rooms that are African - capital A - but not in a twee way and a staff that is charming and approachable.
Given my choice (which is sadly not always the case) , I would always stay here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They accommodated a late check out at no cost.
Rooms are clean and of a good size.
Breakfast options a bit limited but they do cater for specific requests
Pool area very cosy.
Would return.

Got put up on the hotel last minute when they took me in after they're sad a problem with the room I booked elsewhere. The room was beautiful and clean, the staff friendly and overall Talky pleasant experience. Very grateful for their hospitality putting me up after midnight.

for the first visit to Accra I was looking for a hotel which would be well located both for my business meetings and for my wife exploring the neighourhood around Oxford street. La Villa Boutique hotel turned out to be perfect for both of us. Well located for my meetings with international organisations and Ghana Ministries, and well located for my wife to explore Oxford street, dress makers and local restaurants. The hotel manager Mr. Leeford manages the hotel team very well and I had arranged via the hotel a driver with car to take me to my meetings. Fred, the driver, knew his way around town and especially how to reach the destinations (which are not always so obvious in Accra) and how to find the route with least traffic.
