A repeat visit to these apartments.
Very well positioned for visits to a variety of beaches & tavernas.
Always a pleasure to meet the owners who go to a lot of trouble to look after us.
Most people would need a car but we generally walk each evening to a restaurant.

Labyrinth Studios are a great place to explore the island. The studios are comfortable and well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bedding and towels are changed at least twice a week. The pool is lovely and we had it to ourselves most of the time even though the studios are full. Fotis and Katerina are most helpful especially with advice about were to visit and eat. We will certainly go back. Mick C

Stayed five nights here in September. Easy to check in and out. Relaxed do-it-yourself hotel.
Should read sometimes what a two star hotel means but this place is more like a do-it-yourself cabin or a two star apartment hotel with a pool. If you get a good deal this is a nice place to overnight if you are visiting plakias and the beaches nearby.
Room
Spacious for one or two people. Not so good soundproofing but quiet guests.
The bed wasn't so hard as it can be but not a comfy one either. :) Didn't like the hard pillows.
During your stay there ain't no proper cleaning services I think. Someone takes garbage out and sets your bedsheets but that's it. So wash your dishes yourself. Most irritating is that there will be sand on the floor from the beach and no way to clean it away. Sand gets to the bed from your feet and so long a good night sleep.
The apartment hotels usually have nice kitchen facilities. Here they have gathered some random cups and plates to use. There is a coffee maker, water cooker and sandwich grill but not enough room to use them. :) S use one by one next to the sink. Wouldn't bother to cook food with so little space.
Fridge and a little freezer. Some complimentary raki, sugar, instant coffee and tea available.
Air conditioning works! That is difference to a cabin.
Balcony was ok with plastic chairs and a table. Loved the jasmine bush and flowers on balcony. :) No special view available on any of the rooms.
Wifi
Very slow. Didn't bother to use.
Pool area
Garden and flowers around. Shower available and sun beds. Lots of drowned bugs on the pool :D
Otherwise you have the pool and sun beds. That's it. Walking distance to the plakias centre and beach and damnoni beach which is the best best in the area! That's why I chose this place. Walking distance to every place I planed to visit nearby.
You see the mountains around and stars at night. The road is just next to the hotel so not the quietest place either when it's lots of traffic. Beware if you walk along the road. People drive fast!
Owners are nice and relaxed people. :)

This was our first time to Crete and we really enjoyed our stay at Labyrinth. Katrina and Fotis exemplified the great Cretan hospitality we received during our visit - friendly and adding a nice touch by leaving homemade treats in the room. Within 15-25 mins you can reach 4 different beaches by foot, all of them great places to swim and sunbathe. We always travel without a car and we found this location great as we could walk everywhere (beaches, restaurants and a shop all within 20 mins) or use the nearby bus stop.

Once again we loved our stay in this family hotel. Really I can't remember how many times we stayed in this place. But for sure ...we love it. Clean . Comfortable. Quiet. The swimming pool is an extra that we always enjoy!!!
