Booked here mainly because of location an great price as breakfast included - cost partner and myself 40€ a night which l thought good value
Breakfast more than adequate but loads of places 5 mins walk away if you want something different or a cooked breakfast
Location very central which more than makes up for any shortcomings
Our room very clean and comfortable and maids came in every day and changed towels
All the staff really friendly especially young man on desk who goes extra mile for everyone - what a treasure - they need to make sure they keep him !!
Only downside was bar not open and they should acticely use the terrace as dining bar area which would be an asset for all
Would stay there again

My sister and niece where staying here. She had payed pre arriving. We arrived at the hotel to drop my sister and niece off and we where greeted with a very disgruntled staff member assuming we where all staying in the room. (Myself, partner and daughter) She charged an extra €20 for my niece to stay, as apparently my sister did not specify 2 people would be staying. On arrival to the room there where two freshly made single beds, so they had obviously knew two people where staying. They did not let us help my sister and niece to their room with their bags. Rooms are very basic. Not all staff where unpleasant.

wife and i stayed for 1 week very clean and great breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful great rooftop area for sunbathing and relaxing, only minutes walk from oldtown and marina would definitely recommend and will be back ourselves

Hotel Lagosmar is a good budget hotel. The staff were friendly, continental breakfast was more than adequate. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The bed was not comfortable for us personally but if you like a firm bed it is fine. Initially there was only one pillow each provided, but we were given an additional one after the housekeeping staff realised we were using the extra blankets found in the wardrobe as substitute pillows. The air conditioning was efficient. The location of the hotel was central to the beach, shops, restaurants; all within walking distance.

Good hotel, very basic and simple but clean and comfortable (except for the pillow). A bit noisy though. The location is perfect! It's in the old town, but not on the main street, which makes a big difference as you can't hear the live music featured on the square. The staff is friendly, with a highlight for Graça, who was lovely and helpful. The breakfast was very basic but fine, except for the coffee (the worst ever).
