We stayed self-catering in Laguna Park, so cannot comment on the all inclusive. We also did not use the hotel bar or entertainment as out each evening.
Pros
- It is only a 10 minute walk to La Pinta beach which is great for families.
- It is close to the supermarket and all other facilities, but then most places are in Adeje.
- It was clean, if a little dated.
Cons
-The apartment we had was in block A, our balcony overlooked the road, which is from a main interjunction so was a little noisy and sometimes smelt of petrol.
- The self catering facilities were limited, a toaster, kettle, microwave and 2 rings. Utensils and other cooking essentials were also sparse, but as we had no plans to eat our evening meal there it wasn't an issue.
- The apartment had no air conditioning, which for us was a big issue, come nightfall the apartment was airless and sticky necessitating the main door and window being open from the lounge where the kids sleep into the balcony. For us this was fine as our children are teens, but for families with small children sleeping in this area they would have direct access to the balcony.
-The pool is freezing, but I've yet to find a hotel with a heated pool in the canaries and it didn't stop guests swimming in it!
All in all it was a clean 'no frills' base for us.
NB - please avoid Victoria's restaurant located in the right when you come out of the hotel. So rude, service poor and there are many, many others in the area.

`We went to Tenerife and booked it last min was only there for 4 nights but the staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. Rooms were simple and basic but we were not expecting anything less they were good and practical. Nice pool, Nice bar. No complaints and we are coming again next year its already booked !

Ok so I will start with a little background we went to the sister hotel Laguna Park 2 the previous year and had two complaints....one was everything was up or down a hill or steps...not ideal for a relaxing holiday and the other was the food...which was recycled garbage ie Monday would be steak Tuesday would be steak pie Wednesday would be beef lasagna...etc etc...lesson learned.
So now to Laguna Park 1
I was very apprehensive about coming here but my wife assured me it would not be the same so she booked it, the one positive was it was down in the middle of town so to speak so no massive hills to climb but still has it’s fair share of steps....so we arrived, lady on the front desk was polite and helpful gave us a free upgrade to a pool view room and gave us all relevant info....made our way to the room, rooms are larger and better laid out than LP2 so another plus in my little book...pool looked good and was a decent size but was a little worn and was filled with cold salt water which is a shock when you first use it...the issues were sun beds far too many for the space available your packed in like sardines with no spaces in between even for a bag..of coarse all the end of row beds went first...the choice of drinks from the pool bar was limited and all in poxy little plastic cups(if the hotel happens to read this English people will abuse all inclusive...that’s why they do it, giving little cups won’t deter them from drinking you will just get more rubbish....give a proper sized glass/cup and I think you will have happier people as they don’t have to keep going to and from the bar...you will have happier staff as they don’t have a constant stream of people to serve and I think the consumption would go down a little aswell...think about it) all the staff were nice and polite from the cleaners, apart from one bigger girl who worked mainly in the restaurant....what a sour faced miserable woman she was, so that leads me to the food.....to be fair it was better than LP2 but only just there was clear signs of recycling but a lot less than LP2, still not acceptable for a all inclusive hotel....we gave it a fair crack of the whip and ate there for the first half of the holiday hoping it would get better but it got worse day by day....fortunately we could afford to eat out but others couldn’t and the strain was evident especially families with kids living on bread rolls and chips...we were doing breakfast only as it was the only thing that seemed fresh, toast machine was very slow and positioned in between plates and the rest of the food so causing a shoving war if you didn’t want toast and trying to get a plate ”MOVE THE TOASTER “......puddings look lovely but taste stale and bland, rice pudding was cold uncooked rice with cold milk and cinnamon on it 🤢 now toilets....the toilet was clean well appointed but the problem was it was the only public toilet for a hotel of this size 😱 the night entertainment was nonexistent in my two week stay we had two very bad singers that read the words from iPads,a animal show which consisted of four animals and lasted less than half an hour and then wanted you to pay for photos and a music quiz with a prize of a bottle of champagne...I won the quiz and the quizmaster said she would get my prize and promptly left the hotel...I asked at the bar and was presented with a small bottle of low alcohol sparkling wine?? Champagne my bottom..WiFi is lobby only and very poor anyway so don’t bother, most pubs/restaurants have free internet.
So to summarise if you want bed n breakfast in a decent location and to use as a base this hotel is fine it does what it says on the tin,
If on the other hand you want the all inclusive package so you can sunbath eat/drink and be entertained at night you will be nothing other than disappointed .
An all ladies short break

We arrived at the hotel and were pleased with first impressions, booking in was like most places a little on the slow side, but the staff were pleasant and helpful, booking in a party of 12 people in one go is a slow process anyway.
Our apartments typically Spanish, sparse but lovely and clean, beds with lovely crisp linen, mattresses looked new and had mattress protector on, could have done with a few more coat hangers in the wardrobe space but we managed.
It is quite a large hotel but we found it to be fairly quiet at night, no problems sleeping, a very nice pool and area, plenty of sun loungers, though I don't think I would like to be there in the height of summer, can imagine it being very busy and noisy, an adequate pool bar for refreshments, cold drinks and small snacks, staff were very friendly and helpful, music was a little too loud for us sometimes. Cocktails of the day, but same one each day we were there. Lifeguard in place.
We went fully inclusive, on the whole food was very pleasant, if you didn't find something you liked to eat, then you must be very hard to please, we enjoyed most things, there were meat, fish and veggie dishes every meal, they did try to vary it, mixed varieties of salads, potatoes, rice, pasta, soups, continental food and bread, fresh fruit and typical Spanish desserts, ice cream, wine, cold water, tea, coffee and different juices, milk, a really good choice, quick to replenish any empty dishes. However, some staff very pleasant, some a little abrupt, manners cost nothing, no matter how busy it was, difficult for our party of 12 to be together at meal times, but as the restaraunt wasn't that big, we understood. Was quite noisy in the restaraunt, lots of clanging of pots and pans being cleared. No taking food out of the restaraunt policy.
There was an entertainments room, but found this to cater for children only, very noisy and chaotic, no where to go for a relaxing drink.
However lots of friendly bars most offering free entertainment, live music or karaoke, very friendly, beware of large measures in the spirits department if your not used to it, lots of places doing 2 for 1 offers. We saw a couple of tribute acts and found them very entertaining.
There are so many eating places, we ate out on our last night at the Bahia Beach Restaraunt, we were welcomed by Spanish Frank, with lots of banter and charm, he was extremely funny but ensured we were well looked after and the food was excellent, as well as the service, a very pleasant evening was had by all.
Beware taxis as we were charged two different prices for the same trip, by about 3 euros, so ask before you get in how much.
As we went independently as a party, we arranged our own transfers, but they were very prompt and helpful with our luggage.
Will visit again, we had a fabulous time, couldn't ask for more, weather was great, which also helps.
Excellent
