We stayed at the Hotel L'Algadir for three nights, and could have definitely done a few more to just wind down and relax. It's a lovely place just on the edge of Poblenou, just a couple of hundred metres from the central church and bordering the rice paddies. A great base to explore the delta, in a spotless family run hotel. Tranquil, relaxed and friendly and thoroughly recommended!
The hotel has a nice airy modern feel with a small pool and sun decking, as well as a relaxing lounge. What's more, we had a meal in the restaurant one evening and the food was truly outstanding, contemporary yet with local ingredients. Breakfasts too were great with eggs/omelettes to order along with a great meat and cheese selection, bread, fresh fruits and cakes. Nice to be able to eat outside under the canvas too (or in the air conditioning).
Our room was spacious, modern and on all nights we got a very good sleep. Blackout blinds were a nice addition, and just like the rest of the hotel our room was spotless. Nice that each of the rooms is named after a local landmark, which again gives this place a really nice feel. We also rented a couple of bikes from the hotel, which I'd also thoroughly recommend - plenty of sea and rice paddies to see with easy terrain.
So to summarise, if you're visiting the Ebro Delta, then the Hotel L'Algadir is wonderful, relaxing and based in Poblenou you've got a central location too. The family that run it obviously put a load of hard work into it, are passionate about the area and its products so is a place that deserves to do well.

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst cycling in the delta area. Extremely well received and good service throughout. Enjoyed a couple of really tasty dinners based on local dishes. Highly recommend. Family run hotel that ensures you are made to feel welcomed.

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our cycle tour. The staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived including getting out our bikes in the morning. The breakfast was fresh fruit and a nice selection of cheeses and meats, cereals and fresh coffee. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is situated well for biking in and around the delta. It has a lovely restaurant too for the evening or
you can eat out. The swimming pool area is relaxing and there's even a fitness gym although it was too hot for us! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Good modern hotel with pool in the Delta. Easy drive or bike to beaches or nature reserves. Plenty of street parking next to the hotel. Very good restaurant. The Delta is a good place to take a break from touring ruins and Barcelona. One suggestion would be stocking binoculars for use by or rental to guests visiting the nature reserves.

We almost hesitate to review this place in case it gets discovered! It's a small, family-run hotel in the southern end of the Delta d'el Ebre, a quite beautiful wetland area between Barcelona and Valencia. The hotel is superb. The family that runs it look after you so assiduously and yet unobtrusively. Relatively modern, it is wonderfully comfortable, has a small pool and a gym and is ideally placed for bike rides and walks in the wetlands. The cooking in the restaurant is unbelievable. With a focus on local products, the inventiveness of the dishes, the flavours and presentation of the food are sublime. Go, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
