Transit Hotel

Very nicely located in a beautiful garden with own little lake. Breakfast buffet is mediocre only. No mosquito nets at the windows which do not allow you to keep window open at night. This is really a pity because the nights are cool. The net they provide for the bed is uncomfortable. Restaurant food unfortunately is very much adapted to Western taste. It is a transit hotel. I think we have been among the very few that stayed for two nights. In Lampang itself there is not much to see.
Outside city hotel

Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for one night, but it was overall a good experience. The setting is excellent, by the river, but it is located outside Lampang center, so no nightlife here. We stayed in a cottage where the room was very small but ok for a sleepover. The dinner and the breakfast was good and there were no problems with the internet.
Looks good but lacks customer care in every way!

We stayed at this hotel (mid-February 2017) due to a friend's wedding in the area and we were told this was the best place to stay. We took the night train to Lampang and hence arrive at the hotel at 7am (after a 20 min tax from the train station), the hotel staff were very unhelpful and seemed to have no idea what to do with us! After some prompting they let us leave our luggage at reception (as we were not allowed to check in till 2pm even though there were obviously rooms available!). We asked the hotel to arrange a tax back to the city centre and they quoted us a ridiculous price so we decided to find our own way instead.
The room was nice but small, it had all the expected amenities and the bathroom was of a good size. The hotel grounds were very nice, well presented and the pool are is in a secluded sunny part of the grounds. The dinning area was also nice and there was some night time entertainment at dinner. The breakfast was good and had a lot of choice, including fresh fruit and pancakes.
The prices at the hotel were again ridiculous! We didn't pay prices like that in Bangkok so were shocked when we were presented with the price list. The other issue is that the hotel is in a secluded area 20 mins away from the city centre so we had no choice other than to have dinner there. The food were served was not of good quality and it was such a shame.
The hotel staff were awful, they were at best clueless. When we were checking out they presented us with the items we had charged to our room, they had managed to add up the various receipts wrong and upon inspecting the receipts we notices they added items that we had not signed for. We left the hotel after 3 days very annoyed and extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience.
Best setting ever

This hotel is a little gem by far the best setting for a hotel we have stayed in and the restaurant was very very good great choice of Thai dishes and the breakfast restaurant overlooks the river. So relaxing loved our 3 day stay
Noisy rooms

IncreĆble but rooms walls are so thin.
Even the enviroment and the service are incredible, once the lights turn off and you want to sleep, you can hear your neigbours breathing higher than the frogs outside... a pitty... becasue the surroundings are great.
The room is a little bit old and needs to be painted... but the price is ok.
We get lost 2 times because google maps sent us to a non-end road along the riverside. We walked a bit trough the trees and find the right en trance. Then, we went back to the car and turned arround to get the car into the parkig of the hotel.
10km away from the city center. So you need to hire something to come.
