We stayed at the castle foir two nights and it was spectacular. The room was comfy, got a great bight's sleep, good breakfast in the stables. The location is a top of bluff od sorts and the drive in is a bit harrowing, but it was well worth it. The gardens, and don't miss the complimentary tour of the house and its history, which is fascinating. Also sign up for the dinner (but you can skip the team it wasn't worth the $27 NZD pp).
The food was outstanding and we met lovy people from all over the world.

We stayed in the Lodge for 2 nights. The room was lovely and well appointed. However, I was a little put off by finding the previous guests’ hair in the bathroom. The fridge made a constant rattling noise, so much so, we had to disconnect it so we could get some sleep.
Having said that, our stay was nice. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The Lodge accommodation overlooked the stunning gardens and had beautiful harbour views and included free access to the Castle and gardens, a continental and cooked breakfast, and being able to partake in a three course dinner held in the Castle (this is an extra charge). This was a special dining experience, as everyone sat down to dinner at one table which allowed conversation and social interaction with the other guests as well as being able to enjoy the ambiance of the Castle dining room. We felt that the accommodation cost and inclusions were good value for money and would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Larnarch. The gardens are beautiful, there is a fun Alice In Wonderland twist. The view from our room was really cool, it looked out over a bay. The castle dinner was a little pricey, but getting to eat in a castle was totally worth it. Seriously, when else are you going to eat in a castle? The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We accidentally left an item in our room after we checked out. I emailed the reception, they responded quickly and mailed us our item to the US within the week. I highly recommend staying at Larnarch if you're looking for a unique and historical lodging experience.

Wonderful experience - such a treat! The grounds are beautiful, the views spectacular and the rooms are clean, comfortable and individually themed. We enjoyed every part of our experience.
On arrival we were given the honeymoon sweet with its amazing views. We had a private dinner served in the library in the castle on the first night ($70 each). Breakfast was included in the price, and served each morning in the stables. A tour of the castle was also included - so much history. The staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all, fantastic! Truly something special.

We stayed one night in the Stables accommodation. Shared bathroom facility were very clean , then was also a small shared fridge with mike and spring water by the bottle. adPrice point of our stay was good value for money. The Castle and grounds are wonderful and a delight and highly recommended. The staff are exceptional, friendly and cheerful. As for the breakfast the next day - awesome!
