My room in this Inn was comfortable and quiet; the bed was very comfortable. The prices are reasonable and it's close to downtown Salinas. Maybe it was the season, but there was no heat even though the night was quite cool. And the wall heating/cooling unit (blowing cool air) came on every so often and sounded like Cape Canaveral! It can actually be unplugged so it doesn't make that deafening racket during the night. Best to check with management to make sure the heater works as we move into winter. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

A lthough the room, itself, was not bad, the noise from the room nextdoor was unbearable! When we first went to our room, I noted that in order to close the door to the outside, It would have to be slammed...very noisily. Well, not only did that hold true for the unit nextdoor, but when they showered, it sounded like a jet engine motor in our room...just awful! I would never return here due to the poor accoustical insulation.

Room allocation on bottom floor and in close proximity to nearby freeway were negatives, and our sleep was interrupted by a car alarm which activated constantly during the night.
Towels were thin but overall room comfort and functionality was good. Laundry in close proximity was a positive feature and enjoyed our dining experience at Black Bear Diner which is a 2 minute stroll away.

Stayed for 1 night but wish I'd driven up yo Santa Cruz instead. The rooms are nice enough maybe I'm being a bit harsh but I didn't like the feel for the place. The rooms are quite dingy and need a revamp. But there's free parking and a pool although we didn't use it.

Well located near freeway and local routes,
Room with very new decorations, clean modern tile bath, closet with ironing board.
Staff pleasant and helpful.
Very nice breakfast with bacon and eggs, rolls, fresh fruit.
