If you want an authentic Costa Rican experience, this is the place to stay.
You become part of a family there with the host, Carlos, greeting you every morning; the chef, Andrea, specializing your meal and remembering your dietary restrictions; and even the driver, Luis, to stop at the side of the road to pick a coconut for you to prepare as a snack from a long day of adventure. This place is VERY CLEAN and simple, it has the basics you need: comfortable bed, clean shower, air conditioning, bug free room. My favorite part is the dining area where it looks out into a lush garden, pool, and rainforest in the background.
Now the adventure! We booked through Groupon for the Adrenaline Package deal. The host, Carlos, was very accommodating and changed some options for us when we requested. All the tours and adventures we went on were amazing! And Carlos gave us great tips of what to wear and bring with us. When we returned Carlos was so excited to hear how it went. Like I said, you become part of a family there.
5-10 minute drive to the city center, and transportation was provided to all activities and to the airport. Highly recommend this place, and will definitely return. Pura Vida!

It was my first time in Costa Rica and got a great package deal through Groupon. The hotel was located only about 10-15 min away by car from downtown of La Fortuna. Taxi was only a phone call away same driver dropped you off and picked up from your location. Very fare price. Hotel was cute in the middle of a beautiful jungle. Restaurant on site, cooked to order, fresh!! The staff was great and very accommodating. We had to stay an extra day due to a hurricane. No problem! They even arranged for us to have another tour with ease. Pool on site, cable (HBO), wifi, fresh clean river running at the back of the property, which can be swam in or even drink the crystal clear water. The hotel arranged all our tours ahead of travel and e-mailed a scheduled itinerary which was great. This also included transportation and lunch! Couldn't have asked for a better experience on my 30th birthday trip!! Would definitely go back again and recommend it to others. Learned a lot about the country, their wildlife, their produce. Everyone was very knowledgeable about their country and its contents. We went zip lining, horseback riding, repelling, hike to rio celeste, animal watching, hot springs. Great country, great food, great time. Very reasonable prices on everything. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to go back.

Excelent place to come if you visit La Fortuna, it has beautiful garden nice pool, a little place for BBQ. The food is delicious and the price are cheap. The staff are funny and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable

This was the best vacation I ever had. I had the funnest time. Every day at the start of the day I was off on an adventure to be remembered. From white river Rafting to hiking across streams to volcanos and ending up at hot springs. I would totally come again with friends. The hotel staff is very friendly. You need at least a lil Spanish to get by. Overall they are very professional and courteous. They view at the hotel is unbelievable and only a short 10 minute drive to the the city where clubs, bars, and restaurants are.

We arrived at check in at 3:00 pm, we arrived and there was absolutely no one, there was a guy working on the property (not in the hotel staff) that the manager came in 5 minutes, we waited more than an hour and the one We received a poor apology, did not even recheck the check out time or a couple of glasses of water or soda, nothing! .
The rooms are very basic, good point the mini fridge but the wifi very intermittent (very bad signal) the last there was no electricity in the morning (I do not know if it is recurrent but there was no light until the time we left) The heat was unbearable. I do not recommend it. There are better places and even better prices.
Llegamos a la hora del check in 3:00pm, llegamos y no habia absolutamente nadie, salio un muchacho que trabajaba en la propiedad ( no en el hotel staff ) que el manager venia en 5 minutos, esperamos mas de una hora y lo uno que recibimos fue una pobre disculpa, ni siquiera reponernos la hora en el check out o un par de vasos de agua o refrescos, nada! .
Las habitaciones muy basicas, punto bueno el mini refrigerador pero el wifi muy intermitente ( muy mala senal ) el ultimo no habia electricidad en la manana ( no se si es recurrente pero no hubo luz hasta la hora que nos fuimos )El calor era insoportable. No lo recomiendo. Hay lugares mejores y hasta por mejor precio.
