Lazy J Ranch is a family owned property in three Rivers right in the shadows of Sequoia National Park. We stayed in a cottage with two queen beds, small kitchen equipped with everything you need, small bathroom. It was clean and well taken care of. Our hosts were friendly, provided a continental breakfast and suggestions about visiting the area. There is an outdoor swimming pool, a path to the river behind the inn, a few farm animals their kids help take care of. We would definitely stay here again. Not a cookie cutter motel room, but a place with a bit old time character.

We were not informed of breakfast time or checking. When we read the paper, it said 9am so we missed out on breakfast the first morning, only to be told reception opens at 8am.
You can take your breakfast items the night before or in the morning, back to your room as there is no designated breakfast room.
It says river access but the river is back somewhere......
The room was small for the 4 of us.
The shower rose spurts water everywhere. My husband had to fix it.
The door is tricky to close and open.
This place is very basic.
Laundry did not work. Husband 'fixed' it.
Breakfast basic. We didn't miss much the first morning after all.
Signage not very clear.
Location - at the end.... Away from everything.

It was easy to find and directly off the main route. We had booked one night but turned up a day early and they managed to get us the same room for both nights. The young lady on reception made two phone calls for me to assist with another hotel booking we had elsewhere. When we left, they gave us an A4 map, which was easy to follow and pointed out a better route to our next hotel. They gave us a local area A4 map showing restaurants, shops etc. The setting is really great with nice easy walks out back of the hotel. It has a pool, and parking was next to our chalet. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The main room had two queen beds, armchair, settee and tv. The bathroom and kitchenette were both quite spacious, and had everything we needed. We didn't use any cooking facilities but we used the fridge, and kitchen table and chairs. The continental buffet breakfast was very good, and had a good selection of food available.
The location was great for the Sequoia National park, and we both thought it was one of the best places we stayed on our journey.

We had a great stay. Very friendly people who were very eager to help us with planning our stay and trip to the park. Close to Seqouia NP.
Good pool to relax.
Rooms are decent and clean. A very cool setup with the cottages all built in a circle around the pool area.

From the outside I was a little nervous as driving in, but this a delightfully charming Inn. A nice continental breakfast ; a book of restaurant menus at the front desk. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Conveniently located in Three Rivers not far from the park's entrance. Lots of DVD's to choose from at the front desk and employees helpful. A great spot!
