We have just had a wonderful weekend in Crest Volande, staying at Le Caprice des Neiges. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The views were fantastic - especially when the sun came out after a day of heavy snow. Lovely fire in the bar area. Very well situated, opposite a button bar lift to the slopes (although we chose to drive to the village centre and to the bottom of the chair lift). Would certainly return there.

Very friendly and nice place to stay in the mountains. The views are sublime and the staff/owners very helpful. We where there during summer with two kids.
We arrived late in evening/night and got a code to access and directions to the key. Next day got help to guidance to perfect hike in the area with two kids.
Breakfast (not included) is a great experience with local food and including the fantastic view.
The pool area must be one of the top view pools in Europe :-) Very nice little pool with a good temperature and most calming view over fields and mountains.
In general a very pleasant stay (2 nights) with acceptance of kids although the atmosphere was calm.
We chose to have dinner in town since two minor kids felt like a better fit in pizzeria down in Crest-Voland.
It's a 2-5 min. drive to the city. A little to far to walk more times a day = you need a car.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Le Caprice des Neiges. Our room was comfortable with beautiful views. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. The dining room is situated with stunning views. We also enjoyed the swimming pool after a few hours of walking.

Stayed here as part of an Alps cycle trip (August 2015). Rooms are basic however mattress was a bit thin. Views from restaurant are outstanding. The evening meal in the hotel restaurant was very good.

What a great hotel with very friendly staff. It is a family run business and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. We stayed their for a cycling event in Les Saisies with three guys. We had one three-person room which was a bit on the small side but the views really made up for that. The beds slept really good and everything was very clean and nice.
They arranged for all of the competitors to store our bikes in a winter-sport changing room in the hotel.
We would definitely come back when we are going to participate in the event again.
