The hotel has a very good geographical location if you need to visit/work at the heizel.
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed.
The hotel needs a facelift and has no elevator.
The staff is friendly and helpfull.
The owners try to make as much profit as possible. They cut on repairs and investments.
The breakfast is low in standard and a bit cheap although you will not starve here.
Not much of competition makes travellers and workers choose for this hotel.
I expected better value for money.
Adequate

We stayed here for 3 nights due to our other accomodation being disgraceful.
The gentlemen who checked us in was kind and helpful. The stairs to the 2nd level were narrow and the carpets could do with a steam clean or 2 they have seen better days.
Our room wasnt small but it wasnt big either had room to move and store our luggage.
The bathroom was average sized, no handsoap ot soap lucky we had our own. Towels and room made up daily.
We didnt eat here so cant comment. The pub nextdoor whilst closed on Monday was open the remaining nights we stayed. As the hotel doesnt provide coffee or tea making facilities I got my coffee
Also a gem of a restaurant called Delizia italian around the corner as well. Great oversized food and decently priced.
I wouldnt say close proximity to everything but the Atomium and the football stadium within walking distance. Tramline out the front. Didnt really hear it though was hardly in the room.
Wifi worked fine and no dropouts.
Whilst the hotel served its purpose, if it was renovated with new carpets and brigter lighting I would stay again.

This 'Hotel' leaves somewhat to the imagination! Don't be fooled by the pictures! Would have been considered over priced at 1/4 of price.
The positives:
1: Friendly staff (when anyone is there)
2: Attached restaurant is reasonable though no alcohol on premises due to being Halal as we found out
3: Bed fairly comfortable
The Negatives:
1: Dilapidated throughout; in desperate need of decorating & updating
2: Don't bother paying for breakfast, it is not provided (we paid upfront and didn't get so much as a drink)
3: Room is cold; only 1 blanket provided
4: Unbearably noisy due to Tram lines right outside the windows running from 5.30a.m till 1a.m. Approximately every 10 minutes
5: Bare electrical wires hanging out of walls
6: Broken shabby old furniture
7: Tiles broken & hanging off walls in shower room
8: Impossible to get even a cup of coffee unless restaurant is open
9: Towels have other hotels logos on them.... Bizarre!
10: Curtains & nets both dirty and hanging off
11: Generally unclean; requires a good spring clean
All in all, needs gutting and starting again.
Het was ok

I choose this hotel because the pictures were nice and the location was ideal for what I needed. I stayed 4 nights. breakfast is not included, 10 euros, it is ok, fresh fruit and vegetables. Not the big luxury, but ok.
The hotel is rather dark, rooms are very clean but small, there is no soap in the dispensers and no elevator. Glad I stayed on the first floor. During the day a lot of traffic comes by, also trams. Public transport stops at midnight, so from that moment, it is a lot more quite. There is free wifi, which worked very well. The neighborhood doesn't give a good impression, but I had no bad experiences, I met only friendly people. And it is very close to the atomium, which I liked. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, makes you feel welcome. I ate one evening in the restaurant: very good food, nice presentation, fresh and very tasteful. Not that expensive, fair price. I would come back for the restaurant.
Poor but functional

Stayed 2 nights when Scotland playing Belgium. Walking distance from the stadium, 10-15mins. You can see the Atomium from the hotel, 2 mins walk. Nearest metros, 5 mins walk. Nothing else in the area, which appears rundown and unsafe. There is a halfway-house a block along, with 'characters' hanging about outside. A bar next door to the hotel which seemed permanently closed, and a kebab shop 2 doors away, is all you get. There are some places near the metros, but didn't fancy them much either.
The official photographer is good at his job! The hotel is murky, generally unclean, the rooms have a kitchen sink unit and various appliances - more like a bedsit. The front door is locked and summoning staff on arrival is hit or miss. They have a bar area, which was closed throughout our stay. The staff do seem quite cheery and chatty.
If you can slum it, and feel confident in a rough area, this place will just about do, otherwise please avoid it. It's not cheap either.
