I went in this motel during a Bike Ride, it was my only chance for sleeping, I was really tired, than I did'nt control well which other option I can have near that place, I just found this and I went directly inside to take a room, the price is really high for that kind of place, they asked me more than 80 euros for a room with no breakfast included, than more money for an average breakfast..
I think it can be a good motel at least for half the price.
Anyway.. my fault! I went straight to this place, next time I will check it first.

What a place! Maybe I was just unlucky that I had the 'back house'. After passing through something that rather resembles a cave or a dungeon than a corridor I arrived at my room. The ambiente was of the 60s/70s, which was probably the time wallpaper, carpet and lights were installed.
It was February and quite chilly that evening and the only heating in the room was a wall mounted electric heater that was hardly able to keep itself warm, the room was left to its own devices.
The bathroom had its own electric heater, mounted head-high. Result: 35 dregrees at the ceiling, while 5 on the floor (sorry guy, laws of physics). The toilet, which was separate, had no heating at all, so no surprises.

The Clermotel is a Logis de France, but beware, it is not a typical French country hotel.
It is in fact a motel, reasonably located, with plenty of facilities, but dated. It looks as if it has not been updated since the 60's, except for the in-room computer/tv (which was of no interest to us).
And it is far too expensive for the quality of accommodation; it has 2 "chimneys" in the Logis guide (out of 3), and this can only indicate the number, rather than the quality, of features, although being a motel, our room had a door opening onto the "gardens", which were quite large and worked well for our English Setter.
We expected a good dinner, as the Logis site shows it with 2 "cooking pots" out of 3 maximum. The dinner was average, certainly nothing special, and not worth any special praise - but the wine (a Cheverny) was excellent and not too expensive.
Unlike other reviewers, we had no problem with staff courtesy, though they definitely give the impression that it is only a job.
Breakfast was typical self-service and early, aimed at business travellers.
Only to be used if you have to be in the area - not for a holiday stopover!
