Great place for tapas

We were unsure whether to go here as the whole street was being dug up - so glad we did.
On our 1st lunch here it was just us in the bar- we had 2 tubos and tapas, was 2euros each, and we had a filled bagel each with crisps and olives.
The 2nd lunch was on the holiday , 12th October and it was overflowing with locals and had a great atmosphere.
Please try it , it's just Plaza Neuvo :-)

The first night we walked by this place is so packed with youngsters we had no interest in forcing our way in, but the late afternoon of the next day it was pretty empty so we gave it a try and we're pretty happy to hang out there for a couple hours with a couple free tapas and great drinks.
A great place with local atmosphere and good location

We stepped into the Minotauto by acident looking for a place to get a dinner. Unlike most other places around, there was an option to order a single-person paella (really, either I was so unlucky, or it is quite uncommon).
Anyway, great food, really pleasant staff and local atmosphere.
Excellent traditional Tapas Bar

Some reviewers seem not to understand the Andalusian tapas tradition. You order your drink and, after it is served to you, a "house" tapa is prepared and brought to your table. You may then order more tapas from the menu and, of course, pay for these. It is misleading to complain that the tapa didn't arrive with your drink or that the tapa is included in the price of the drink.
The house tapa when we visited was a burger with relish in a very fresh bun and was delicious. We order four tapas (one each) from the menu and all were excellent. The service from the young man and woman was friendly and helpful. We were so impressed that we returned the following afternoon. This time the house tapa was a very fresh bagel containing fried pork and garlic mayonnaise. Mouthwatering!
My only quibble was that coffee is on the menu.
Wrong place

When we followed the directions on the map, we ended up in another Minotauro near the Darro, with the same owner.
Next day we found the one reviewed and found the atmosphere and decor nicer. Although food was good in both places.
