The hotel is difficult to find when arriving by car during nighttime - the entrance is not safely indicated.
The staff there is really welcoming and nice. I really liked the receptionist's assistance for any of our queries.
The room and bathroom could have been cleaner though. This was not dirty but not very clean either. The configuration of the Bathroom was really badly designed - although it is due to the compliance with the disability requirements, there is stagnant water on the whole floor of the bathroom, whenever you decide to take a shower. It is really annoying.
The breakfast was very good but the buffet is located in a not-convenient place in the room. As a result, you cannot really be several people serving themselves at the same time.
Finally, the restaurant is not opened on Sundays nights, which is not convenient given that the hotel is outside central Quimper and that most of the Quimper central restaurants are closed on that night anyway. The hotel should at least be serving some snacks/bar menu with basic dishes on a night like the Sunday ones.
The global feeling is that it is a good hotel but it is not worth the price paid - for the above reasons.

Forget about hotel star rating, if you want a hotel that isn't a run of the mill type, Le Manor is for you. We have just spent 4 nights there with our 2 friends who live in France.
We were all upgraded to very large bedrooms, uniquely furnished with adjacent modern ensuite bathrooms. ( A large bath was also in the corner of the room).
The hotel is set in extensive grounds and is very peaceful to return to after a day playing tourists. It is only 5 minutes in the car from the centre of Quimper. Lots of restaurants there so we never bothered to have an evening meal in the hotel. We had breakfast on the day we left and although not luxuriant, there was plenty of choice, but as with most hotels, it is quite expensive. I think it was 14e each.
Very much liked the hotel. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Only one complaint, the bedroom lighting was too dark and it made reading a book at nighttime quite difficult. Other than that, we had a great time.

A lovely building but residents are put in a hastily and poorly designed extension at the rear of the house. No atmosphere badly designed and finished bathroom and grim restaurant surroundings. Very disappointing and not worth its price or rating.

The hotel, bedrooms, gardens and swimming pool are all beautiful and very good for a romantic getaway. However, the quality of the food in the restaurant was very poor and expensive at 40euros per person - the main course of sea bass was practically inedible due to the amount of anise used. We complained to the waiter who was pleasant but didn't offer any sort of solution - the plates look pretty when served but definitely style over substance! Stay here but get a taxi to Quimper to eat!

The room was not in the main house as expected. The building quality of the converted accomodation was poor with evidence of large scale cracking in the bathroom making it impossible to clean to the expected standard.
External sitting areas were in a poor state of repair and una peeling .
The Hotel is too far fro town.
